Quoted from Scoob
if there was to be a rating system maybe the person has to write a review or at least a comment before being able to vote a rating.

At least that way the rating system would be fair and it might cut out a lot of the antics that seem to have been going on.

On Screenwriters Utopia, when you submit a script you are asked to answer a series of yes/no questions about your script. Stuff like:

Does it rain at any point in the story?
Does anyone die?
Is any scene set in L.A.?
Id there a car accident in the script?

Etc etc

Before you review a script, you have to answer these questions to prove that you've read it. Pretty neat idea.

I'm not saying Don should go and work his ass off to do this, but IF he decided to use a rating system. I'd suggest this as the way to go.

I doubt Don has the time to go that in depth but I'd like to see a new rule added saying in the specific boards designated for a screenplay you can only review the screenplay unless you're the writer.

So instead of all this idle chat that you have to go through pages of it's only reviews and the writer updating the status of rewrites and or episodes upcoming. (Idle chat is for pm's)

This way certain people can't leave 1 line reviews that nobody cares about (Not even the writer) and or just saying OK or "That's good"

And a way to enforce the rule would be immediate termination never to return but that's just me.

I don't care either way... stars don't mean nothing. So if I said I had a great day today "a 5 star day" and you viewed my day on tape "per say" and told me my day sucked and it deserved 2 stars... Would I be right or would you?

Stars don't mean nothing... stars don't depict if I read a story or not so all in all... yeah, get rid of 'em... they ain't doin' me no good either!!!!
