I think everyone is making too much outta this whole name change thing... I think maybe we should all have 1 day out of the year where it's all agreed upon and do the name switch thing then. That wouldn't get outta hand now, would it?

It's just a name. It's no big deal. You can just look at the top posters thing and see who everyone "Really is" I mean, Wes has over a thousand post... if he changed his name would we all still know who he was? I think so.

Who's making a big deal of it? We're just discussing how it can be a bit confusing when some members change their screen names frequently. It's especially true for new members who don't know everyone yet.

Anyway, as I stated before, all this would be irrelevant if you all put your names in your signatures. And why not do that, you put your real name on the scripts you submit, right?

Just go to your members center. Hit name and contact information. You'll see "SCREEN NAME" just type in what you want to change it to and save settings.

I encourage it.

Most of my names have had the word "Curse" in them. Except for Ametsuchi No Hitokoe, named after my anime series ( shameless plug ).

Quoted from Old Time Wesley
I honestly had no clue George was Tubkas, a few other people as well who came back after a long time away with a new name as it were.

I always sign up under Tubkas on every board I'm on. I posted a couple of times under that name, and then got distracted. I wasn't a regular by any stretch of the imagination then anyway. After deciding to just be myself on other boards I'm on, I decided to be myself on this one too, and out of my nearly 900 posts to date, I'd say 875 were made under George Willson as the screen name.

No one has to worry about my name changing. I've had it for years, and I'm kind of happy with it. Not only do I have the common, yet rare, name of George, but my ultra common last name has the ultra uncommon spelling of 2 L's. I don't think I could come up with a better name. Thanks Dad.

I know. I got got with Hairy Tic.
I was drinking my morning coffee, coasting through the threads nice and easy like a drive down a country road on a Sunday afternoon when Hairy Tic came out of nowhere, and I was like What? Hairy Tic, who are you?
It was kind of creepy scary. I thought I was getting Altzeimers.

Yeah I'm kind of sick of that ugly avatar on mine... Wait that's me ha-ha

I think if I durastically changed my name to Steven people would be confused or angry with me as they've become accustomed to calling me Wes or Wesley.

Though Steven just doesn't have the same ring to it... Wesley The Ice Princess, now that has a good ring to it.

I don't think they would be angry, just confused. Your avatar is pretty neat.
I need an avatar, too. Maybe I'll have my daughter put my pic up. I don't know how to do that.

I've noticed a lot of guys who pick or graze the surface with the finger as to pretend to scratch but really what they want to do is pick. Maybe they have an itchy nose so maybe it's not a pick but an itch like Jerry Seinfeld.
