I've been loving the SimplyScripts web site ever since I found it. And just recently I send in my first script to the web site. I had it uploaded in to the site's FTP site. But just after I clicked the ok. I saw , at least I think I saw. " In text format only " or  .txt . I sent a Richtext file in a Zip. Will I have to send it again, in the .txt format?

One note I'm sorry to say about the script. At one point in the story I was supposed to wright " us ", instead I wrote " use ".

First: No, you don't have to send it in again. I send my scripts in PDF. file and he just post it like it is.

Two: WRIGHT? Ya mean WRITE.

Welcome to simplyscripts, by the way!

That's ok. You can send Don an update and he'll replace it. Just let him know what you're up to when you do it.

Welcome aboard

Welcome man, a quick suggestion is if you can save it in html format, that usually works best for submitting.

I'll send it again. Second about the " wright " and " wrote " mistake. It was around like 11:50 pm/12:10 am at night for me. Who doesn't mess up like that at an hour like that? Third Topher, I think Clerks the movie kicks a**.

I don't get off work until 1am. I'm usually good until 3 or 4.

Until your script shows up on the boards, you should read and review other people's work.  It'll make it that much easier for your work to be reviewed.

Hey systemcat,

Like you, I'm new to this board.  I'm reading, when I can, and reviewing other writers' work.  It's the fair thing to do.  One of these days, I will post a script.

Too embarrassed to have anybody read what I've already written. I've got to clean up the one decent short script that I've penned, but as luck would have it, that script is buried with a dead laptop.  I'm going in with a hammer and pick tomorrow to revive it.

Good luck.  Keep writing and reading.
