For those of you who own or have ever taken a look at The Hollywood Creative Directory, will you please detail the type of information that is found within. I'm in the process of marketing my script (agent-less, of course) and I would like to know if it's a needed purchase, considering the hefty $60.00 price tag. Us writers are a frugal bunch.

Thanks in advance!

I vote no.  There are a lot of other avenues in which to market your script, adn they're free.

Try http://www.newenglandfilm.com

I know this is totally off topic but Mike I think I'm e-stalking you based on your avatar.  Haha.  That picture is ridiculous.  Man she is frackin beautiful.  Rachel Leigh Cook, amen.

Sorry MonsterMan.  I'll try and calm myself.  As far as an on topic statment, there are most definately better ways to sell your screenplay other than the Hollywood Creative Directory.  There are actually some production sites that will allow you to e-mail your script and they will read it for you (Asylum, Raw Nerve) but those production companies are terrible and will just destroy you script and film whatever is left after their writers "rewrite" it.  So I guess you should just ignore that one.

Keep looking and good luck.

No argument here.  She's definitely gorgeous.

As far as Asylum and Raw nerve go, I believe you still have to query them, but if they like the concept they'll request the script.
