To kind of answer where this thread was going, once upon a time, the discussion board did not have as much spotlight as it does now. Don moved the board link to the top of the main simplyscripts.com page where it was down on one side. I posted my first script in April 2004, but I wasn't a board member until that November. It takes time for people to notice. As for the rest of the discussion, yeah, relegate it to Bert's link.
This is an old discussion and nothing can be done about it. If Don even bothers to respond to this thread he will probably just say (Once again like he says every time this comes up) he accepts ANY screenplays because if he was picky, we wouldn't be here.
I'd be bere. The name 'dogglebe' stands for quality.
I would also go further and take all non member scripts off the message board (leave them on the main page) but this board is here for US the members and not every tom, dick and harry who doesn't give a shit.
It's funny because, every now and then, we get someone here who complains about the 'inner circle' of writers and readers. These are usually those people who expect everyone to critique their work, yet never read anyone else's.
Anyone remember that one guy from England who refused to read anyone's work?
