Hey guys, I have a big question that I need answered right away. Like I said, I decided my ghost name was Peter North. Is this going to conflict with any other writers out there named Peter North?

Should I just post the script under my real name? I don't want to upset people in high places.

Jean Reno is angry... Angrier than Chuck Norris on acid... Too bad Chuck... Okay, never mind, this is turning into a Chuck Norris joke.

Thank you for your "serious answer" : )

I might consider just revealing my real name so no one else would get the credit for my work.

When you write a script, I suggest writing your real name. I'm unfamilar of anyone on this site who utilizes their persona name for their scriptwork. For the discussion board, it's alright to use a persona.

Gabe

Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages.

What is generally accepted is to use whatever you want as your "gang name," but post scripts under your real name. Wesley, for example, only uses Wesley on the boards, but any scripts he posts are under Steven Cameron, which is his real name. Bert signs his Robert Newcomer. Theboywhocouldfly up there signs his Jordan Wiebe. You can be whoever you want on the board, but it would be a good idea to post your scripts under your real name.

Yeah, I know it is very dificult stuff, Peter North. You are Peter South bother, aren't you? And are you cousin of Peter East and Peter West, right?....Hahaha! Just kidding!

I miself when I came to this site I thought to have a gang name it was Mr. Wank Tank, but my wife said was better use simply Helio. I like my name and if I used Mr. Wank Tank maybe the fellas here won't  pay any attention to my scripts. So what ever you decide to sign the better thing to do is to sign your real name on you script.

Always credit yourself on the title page of your screenplay and always add contact information.

I know two producers who read a script they were interested in, but it had a blank title page or incorrect contact information. That's two opportunities down the drain.

I don't understand this, why would you want to use a stage name as it where for the name on your script? You are the real person who wrote this, why discredit yourself with using a made up name?

This was your work, yours... Not some Peter North... I think these other guys are right stick with your real name. Be yourself, don't be anyone different, Just be who you are!! Don't change anything for no one!!
