I started reading a script yesterday caller '83' in the horror section and now its vanished.  I forget the writer, although he was a bit annoying with his comments to people who were only offering helpful suggestions, anyway just wondered where it went.  I think the writer mentioned it was doing the rounds or had been bought maybe, Could this be the reason?

I was watching that thread -- and I am sure "the great Bryon Lester" took his toys and went home.

That is, he asked Don to yank it.

But if he had actually sold that low-rent "Saw" knock-off I'll eat my socks.

Like it's our fault he got called on trying to pass off refried fan-fic as something fresh....

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

Thanks Bert not only for letting me know what happened to the script but also backing my judgement that the script was 'sold' story.  Eat your socks, I'll eat ny feet!

I googled this guy and it seems he actually did option the script, I found an announcement on InkTip.com. It just goes to show that concept sells, even if it's not your own.

I read the first 30 pages and skipped to the end to find out the killer's motive. I thought the characters and the writing were poor overall and the story was completely derivate. It was basically a less clever rehash of Saw.

And yet, that blasted concept remains king of all evildom...I really must start that studio here in the middle of no where to produce worthwhile scripts.
