Do you have me on ignore or something?  Check your email

I saw the e-mails.  I was hoping I could see an average score between all the writers to see where we're really stand.

So I voted for the current number 1 a thousand times instead. To be fair, he's probably a lot better than you all anyway. No-one gets to the top without genuine talent.

I hope I was number one when when you did this...

Phil

I voted for the Devil's Instrument. It reminded me of my own Pink Oboe aka the Blue Veined Trombone.

In al seriousness...I signed up as BouncyCheetah.

I'm happy to rate your scripts or become a fan or whatever....don't really "get" the whole concept though.

I haven't totally figured it out yet, but rankings are based on more than just fans.  I'm currently ranked ahead of a script that has more fans than mine.

Granted, this probably makes the situation worse, as #1 probably got a lot of friendly 10s.

Look on the bright side.  There's always nepotism.

Well let us know when you've worked it out so I can make my efforts count.

I've added the faces I recognised as friends and became fans of the work.

Here's their tips for getting your screenplay in the #1 position:

1)        Make yourself heard!  Whether it be in group discussions or by reviewing other screenplays – people won’t get to see your screenplays if they don’t know who your are. Swapping reads with other users is also an excellent way to gain feedback and increase your fan following.

2)    The bigger your social network the better, make friends and comment on their screenplays. Circalit is first and foremost a community and it offers you the chance to build up a following for your screenplay, so take advantage of this by making lots of friends.

3)    Make use out of all the social networking features to share screenplays on other social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. All you have to do is press the link for the desired social network and the screenplay will be automatically shared on your profile. This can greatly increase your screenplay’s readership and fan following.

4)    Market your screenplay: make your log line and synopsis as inviting as possible, be sure to upload a good image to represent your screenplay and make it stand out from the masses.

BTW what is that Scribd bollocks?

I can't read the screenplays. There's just a little window at the bottom of the page where I can see a line at a time. Do I really have to buy Scribd to read them?

Can't maximise it or move it.

I was wondering who that was.  Kinda creepy... and disappointing.

Circalit hasn't finished figuring out how it decides the winner.

That's not a very nice thing to say about your number one fan...just shows what fame does to people.

Sorry Rick.  When I saw that name, I pictured Courtney Cox on a trampoline.  Not you.

I noticed tha thing with Scribd.  I guess this is how they make their money.

That's weird, I haven't had any problems with it.  Do you get a "full screen" option next to the buy link?

That's weird, I can only preview the first ten pages of my script.

You did that.  You have to edit the page and allow them to show the whole screenplay.
