Thank you to Simply Scripts for givng a link to the script 'City Island'. It's got to be the most overlooked and underrated films so far this year. The movie, co-produced by star Andy Garcia and directed by the screenwriter Raymond De Felitta, is hilarious.

Sadly, it didn't get a wide release and I had to catch it on DVd recently. But, I tell you, I don't know where it will fall but I'll save a place for it in a Top Ten 2010 list, that's for sure.

Hey Darren,

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie earlier this year.
At least in limited theatrical release it did make a respectable $8 million.
It's a charming story filled with engaging characters and snappy dialog.
I hope its successful enough that Andy Garcia can pursue new projects.
