I was wondering if anyone out there has dabbled in stageplays and, if so, if you might be able to provide some good resources regarding formatting and stuff like that.

I've got some time before the games start (J - E - T - S, JETS!, JETS!, JETS) so I'll do some due dilligence on the internets, but I figured I would come here first.  I also ran a quick search on SS, but I always seem to have issues with the search function here.

I saw an off-off Broadway show last night that my friend's wife was playing in and thought it might be cool to take a crack at something like that.  I've got an unfinished script that I think might work better as a play.

Anyway, if anyone has some good resources, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Craig

P.S.  Apparently the word is "Stage Play" - two words, not one.  Already learning.  Better grab a beer though, this may take a while.

My first foray into writing was stage plays. I have some templates and formats guides sitting on my PC somewhere. Send me a message and I'll email them to you along with some guides and recommended reading.

Hey Eoin,

Thanks for responding.  I sent you a PM, but it kept coming up with a different user name.  I sent it to "Eoin".  Let me know if you got it.

Thanks,
Craig
