Hey Guys

I'm new to this forum so im not entirely sure how this works...

I have uploaded my script to simply scripts and can view my script on the forum discussion board, BUT i cant view it on the site.

Is there a reason for this?

Would appreciate it if someone enlightens me on this...

Thanks

Lyston

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, Lyston.

Your script "is" on the site somewhere and recent, you can "see" the thread? If that's the case, then there shouldn't be a problem...unless....

  • If you linked to it off-site and the script URL or file is incorrect.

  • The file in question cannot be opened because it was saved improperly/ wrong file type.

  • It is a file that you have to rename in order to view it.

Those are my three best guesses.
But since I had no problem opening the short script ( I'll share my thoughts on it shortly) I'm going to go under a possible, wild fourth assumption. That being that you thought that you can "view" a script onsite, like Triggerstreet or Talentville.

Your script opens up in the file when downloaded.

Do you mean on the unproduced section? If so, I don't know. Usually, it's up there but slowly falls back because of new submissions. Nevertheless, as long as you have the script on the site and you can view it within the discussion board, there's not much problems. If you want exposure on this site or reviews on your script, read other people's scripts (preferably members who've posted alot) and give reviews so that people can read your material.

Hope this helps
Gabe

Also, but I would suggest this before gathering reviews and revising your script, to look up websites like inktip where you showcase your scripts to industry members. However, some those sites charge for their services.

Lyston,

When your script goes up to the full site, you'll get an email from me.

I'm a bit behind.

If you give honest reviews and establish yourself as a regular, then it's no problem. Just my advice though.
