Hello,

I have two questions. I've been writing for a while now, but have only ever submitted two of my pieces of work to SimplyScripts though!

Anyway, my first question is: should I write camera angles/shots in my script? I hate it and can't do it.

My second question is: I have an idea of an MI5 setting, a play-off of the British programme Spooks. Would this work, and what would you expect?

Thanks,
Tyler.

1.  No... under no circumstances should you, unless you are the writer/director/producer of said script, include Cam work inside the scenes.  (meaning you're doing it all... in this case no one cares how you write the script, because you're doing it all yourself anyways.)

2.  I've never made it without biting... ask mr. owl.  In other words, I've no clue.

g'luck

Leave all the directing to the directors.

It takes three licks (I was there).

Question 1 - answer: no
Q2 - bit light on what the idea is - spooks has a solid following and is well written - can you do it better? David Wolstencroft is well established (and award winning) writer - what can you offer that he can't? It would require you to come from a very different angle - too close to Spooks and nobody would touch it ('coz you can't better it) - give a clearer idea of what it is you were thinking of, and maybe we could give you something a bit more solid.
