Hey Guys/Gals,
Just wondering if you can help me upload a file (script) for others to view/read it. Seems like everytime I try something I have have to download or sign up for something else. Any help (easier way) would be great. I have tried creating a website but can't convert or something else pops up. I have adobe and still confused.
Thanks,
Otter |

Hi Otter, You can submit the script to Simplyscripts and Don will post it here on the message board under whatever genre you choose. Just make sure it's in a format everyone can read (ie, PDF). The link is here: http://www.simplyscripts.com/submit_your_script_new.htmlYou can't submit a script for the next couple of days I believe due to the OWC that just occurred. Stew |

Hunh? You'll need to explain that a bit better ottercat. You can upload your script here.... http://www.simplyscripts.com/submit_your_script_new.htmlThe upload itself is actually on the page after you submit the above page. You don't have to sign up for anything or download anything in order to upload a script on that page. However, it's seems to be down until March 5th - which is today I guess. Should be available tomorrow. |

Thanks.
The PDF is what's scaring me. If I send it in a Finaldraft file, would that be ok?

You can, but only people with Final Draft would be able to read it.
You should be able to open Final Draft and under File -> choose Save as PDF.
That'll do the trick. |

You won't get many reads if you use a Final Draft file. Final Draft should be able to Save as PDF. |

A little problem. I have final draft 5 and that file save as a PDF is not an option. I knew there'd be another problem! lol. Thank God i'm not a GAMBLER! |

Hmmmm - it's been a while since I used Final Draft 5.
It could be 1 of 2 things:
File -> Print -> Print to PDF (there may be an option to print to PDF somewhere on the screen)
or File -> Save As -> Save As PDF from drop down menu (where you enter the script name).
I'm going by memory here, so may not be accurate. |

Hey ottercat
Try downloading PrimoPDF, it's free (or it was). Once installed, you simply go to print and select PDF and it saves the file. It's what I use with my Finaldraft. |

I keep trying to submit my script and all I keep getting is the message that 'script submissions are closed until March 5th'. It's past the date, what's going on? |
