Hugh Hoyland is a character from Robert A. Heinlein's sci-fi novel "Universe".

I like the name so use it kind of like an online identity.

Thats a good question E.D.

I think it was his "rebelious" nature against the status quo that drew me in. He knew there was more to the world than what was being told and he searched for it...and eventually found it.

I just got my username from my Dad. Reggie is just a short name for Reginald. Reginald is my father's name. So I guess my Dad named me that to.

Ugh... I should have had HAMANA (no K and one N) for my user name.
For the life of me I can't understand what made me write k in front of that H in the first place.
the name in Russian spelled Хаманна.
Now I don't know why my parents were generous with those N's. It's a made up name by the way.
I should use all kinds of spellings. Hamana, Hamanna, Khamanna, Khamana - easier to evade enemy when it comes looking...

Was just looking through some older posts and came across this one. I had always wandered what peoples names meant too.

My name, ArtyDoubleYou, is how you say my initials R.T.W. It's just something I wrote once as a young buck and always liked it so use it where I can.
