Hey guys, really sorry if this has been asked before, I tried to search but nothing came up for it.

I'm currently writing a feature that begins with using archive/news footage intercut with various nightlife scenes. Im having trouble actually writing this on the page? Any suggestions? Are there rules for this?
Without going into too much detail, the scenes are of a riotous nature, mobs etc… but I don't have specific images in my head, it's more to set a scene you know.
Im unsure as to whether I have to specifically write the scenes out (like an action line) or just write something like "various shots of riots" etc etc. please help.

Thanks.

-Gavin

Write it as you see it, including grainy and shaky shots.

I wrote a mockumentary of a television news shows that included 'actual' footage.  Go with what you see.
