Hi everyone!

Just wondered if somebody could clear up something for me?
Been using the trusty service of google....

A producer has asked me to send a hard copy of my script to him.
The only thing that I’m trying to figure out is how it is presented.
Do I need to place a blank piece of coloured card at the front and back of the screenplay ? (What’s the most common colour to buy?)

I’m reading yes/no ... and all sorts of answers ....

At the moment it’s title page + script ... would it be fine to send like this ?
Any help would be great !!

Ps ... this is a british producer

I used to send mine out with a cardstock blank at the beginning and end.. then open to a blank white page then the title page... I would use the brass brads in top and bottom holes to fasten.

The latest ones I sent out I just took to staples and had them bind them with a ring binder... still used black cardstock on the front and back but opened to the title page.

Yea, used to be card, and then hole punch here or there and brass ring holders, but I think is all changed nowadays - like hard copy, will they still accept a PDFs? And is the producer private production comp or mainstream BBC, ch4 etc? Even mainstream are accepting electronic communication now ... and maybe just ask how they want it ... I mean do they want it in the post? That's almost odd...

My first reaction was that you should ask the producer, "Why do you hate trees so much?"

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.
