THE RULES

The object of this game is to end up as the sole survivor.

A killer is on the loose and no one knows who they are.  The killer wants to be the sole survivor too.  In order to survive the killer will need to kill every one who isn't a likely suspect.  The most likely suspect will face the killer in a vote by their peers - whoever is voted the killer will perish.

There are three rounds.  One player will be killed during the first round. Two players will be killed during the second.  Three players will be killed during the third.  Then a vote will be held based on the two remaining players.  Which one is the killer?  The player voted as the killer will be the last to go.

A player still continues to write even after their character is dead.  They just write about other characters.

YOUR TURN

When it is your turn I will send an email stating that it is your turn.   I will also post that it is your turn in this discussion thread.  Refer to the discussion thread to get information you will need for your turn.

In your email only, I will also state if it is your turn to die. You may also be provided with additional instructions which you will follow.

You will write a scene and post it in the game thread.

You have 24 hours to acknowledge my email. If you do not acknowledge then your turn will be postphoned or cancelled.

You have 48 hrs to write your scene + or - a few hours.  It is recommended that you choose one of the other players to read your scene post before you post it.

Please tell me as soon as you can if you will not make your turn so we can keep the game moving.

GENERAL SCENE GUIDELINES

Keep it low budget and real.

You may create incidental characters but please try to stick to the 8 player characters.  You may also kill incidental characters you create or that other people create and leave lying around.

As a note: I'm pretty sure the deaths will be unattended trap type deaths - in case you kill an incidental character.

A scene can be no longer than one post in a thread.  If you use Word then this is somewhere around 7,850 characters including spaces and lines.

All formatting will be left aligned (see game thread for example).  All locations slugs should be in bold. [ b ]slug[ / b ]  like that without the spaces.

You may have more than one location in your scene.

If you introduce another character please consider the bio given by the player.

During a general scene your mission is to develop “story”.  This might be your character’s “story” or if your character has already been murdered (this might happen) then you will need to develop another character’s “story”.  You may even choose to develop more than one character.

The important thing is that there are no player murders during a general scene.
During this scene, you should move characters around, have them talk to each other, cast suspicion, gossip.

Make the reading interesting. Follow an earlier “storyline”.  A general scene can be just about anything that moves the “story” forward.   I’m putting story in quotes here because there really isn’t much of a story here, more than likely there will be many fragments of stories, after all this is a game.

DEATH SCENE GUIDELINES

You will be notified when it's time for your character to die.  You will also be provided with the method.  The killer is deciding the order and the method.

You may lead up to it, give your character some closure, do whatever you can to make it interesting but you must follow the method provided.

Most importantly the killer must not be seen.

Dennis Mark (grademan) (late 40s), one of the comic dinosaurs, is too old to be fresh and too young to be legendary. Sometimes introduced as “the raunchiest man in comedy” his gigs are often one long diatribe of raunchiness. He hasn’t been funny since his last cable TV showcase (a watered down 30 minute special that was supposed to be a premiere event) ten years ago. But his name is still drawing hard-drinking hecklers and diehard fans into the small town clubs, so he has a job.

Dennis dreams of making it big again. He used to be a great joke writer and teller. But first, he needs that one night to get him started. He’s road weary and fears he won’t be in the game much longer. He doesn’t want to do gigs like The Smoking Gun Presents: The World’s Dumbest or security guard with Gary Coleman.

Dennis will do anything to get back to the big venues but for now he’s stuck in small dives.

Mark Donovan (TobyE) (27) is considered the best mma (mixed martial arts) fighter around. As the son of the legendary boxer Harry Donovan, there was never any doubt that Mark would follow in his father's footsteps and become a professional fighter.

Originally hailing from London, UK, Mark has been living and fighting in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past three years. He trains twice a day and puts in the work to make sure there isn't an ounce of fat on his body, which is quite an accomplisment seeing as he stands at 6 ft 4 inches tall, and weighs a whopping 205 lbs.

With Dana White, President of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) calling him "the best fighter the UFC has ever seen", and his fighting record standing undefeated at 23-0, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that Mark Donovan is at the top of his game and will be for many years to come.

Tommy (Tommyp) (27), can talk his way in, and out, of anything. He doesn't like the term "conman", but sees him self as an "opportunist" instead. Since the age of 8, when he talked his next door neighbour into buying him a new bike, a motorbike that is, he has been scamming people out of their money.

From fake cheques, to romance scams, Tommy has dabbled in it all. With a quick mouth, a sharp wit, and the level of confidence you only dream about, Tommy has been living the life of luxury for years. Mansions, girls, helicopters, and the recent addition of his personal island, keeps Tommy happy and content.

Mitch “Coop” Cooper (Dreamscale) 34, heads up the Boating Safety and Regulations Department in Lake Simply.  Coop is a simple man, who has spent his entire life in the resort community.  Well liked and respected, Coop lives alone with his dog, Chomper.

Coop is a physical specimen, with a rock hard chiseled body, and a full head of bleached blonde hair.  He’s known to be somewhat of a Playboy with the vacationing women that come and go.  No one has a bad thing to say about him.

Andrew (xerces_) 47, an accountant, has never been married. Socially inept, and withdrawn, due to bad experiences, and now just out of habit. Is generally kind, but has small characteristics that put people off. Came to the resort to get away from his old life, and live off his unspent small fortune - and maybe, finally, find a partner.

Lovisa Hammare (me) (50) from sweden. Even though a "free spirit" Lovisa is well liked in the community. She loves kids and readily babysits and bakes cookies and treats for all the children.

She lives in a cute idyllic cottage she loves to invite members in the community to. ...only very few however have ever been down into her cellar where her she keeps all her pagan stuff, including the sacrificial altar...

Christian Blaine (TheBoyWhoCouldFly) 20, was a genius in highschool and even  got accepted to Yale, but ended up falling in love with weed, cocaine and Ecstasy.  He now spends his days dealing drugs and getting high, he makes good money but blows a lot of it on his own habits.  He's charming and doesn't have trouble getting laid, but they are usually just one night stands.  He feels lonely a lot and sometimes wishes he could be that kid he was back in highschool, but his addictions always win that battle.

Doris Kilman (JonnyBoy) mid-30s, is a poor, lonely church volunteer. She is at Lake Simply on a vacation paid for by fellow members of her congregation, a vacation she was reluctant to take. A woman with a sad life story, she is quiet, unattractive, usually poorly dressed - the kind of person you wouldn't give a second glance.

But though Doris has God in her heart, she has poison in her head. She has suffered in her life, suffered greatly, and she loathes all who she feels have had it easy and not fully appreciated it.  She is poor, she knows the evils of the world, its unkindness and injustices  - she despises these people at Lake Simply, with their glamorous lifestyles and lavish ways, their thoughtless spending of money they take for granted. She is angry, always so angry and bitter. They must repent, they must be shown the Light – God has chosen her for this task! Her congregation might have thought that sending her to Lake Simply would give her a much needed rest, help to her relax – in fact, they may have made things

Okay....

Thanks for that Jordan!

Well, I'm glad my character got some action.

Good start of the game though. Intrigue and action right off the bat.

You're welcome Pia, I was thinking about adding some toys and maybe some farm animals as well, but I think it would have made it too long

Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Map has been updated.  I put everyone that wasn't at the pier in their homes.  This does not, of course, mean they are actually there.  It just seemed kind of silly to leaver them at the restaurant all day or on the beach all day. Thought I would give them a bit of movement.

xerces__ is up next. Wonder where he's going to take this thing?

Bye bye Andrew! Nice one, serces. Who is the mysterious Giselle, and who is she in league with? Why did Tommy never turn up on the boat? Is Mark really the murderer? Who is the young woman that was murdered, and is her identity important? Are spiders really Satan's little helpers?

So many questions. Loving it so far! Looking forward to seeing what goriness Jeff can conjure...

I have to say that everyone has been doing a great job keep the story together.  I also think that you've all been doing a great job keeping things moving along quickly.  One of the benefits of the Killer game is that we can play it fast.

A couple of reminders though.

- Remember this is low budget and based in reality.
- Even though you can introduce characters, try to keep it to the eight.  It just gets confusing when you have to keep track of all the minor characters.

Well done though.  We're nearly halfway through the first round.

I should be done later tonight with the next post.

So, Michael, I shouldn't have those damn spiders grow to huge sizes and start attacking the town?  Would that throw the budget off?  Damn, I guess I need to rethink things here...

Sorry to jump in here guys. i've just started reading. But the censoring of the swearing is very distracting, and takes away from the script content. Do I disable something to fix it or is it controlled by further up?

Oh, and one more reminder guys and girls.

- Though it might be tempting to try and create bigger and better story threads, a bigger challenge for yourself would be to stick to and develop the existing ones.  If you're going to try and add new ideas for development - keep it down to one new idea and make it clear so that those who follow will pick up on it.

Map is updated.  TobeE is up next.  I wonder if his laptop is fixed?  We may have to do a switch.

I also wonder what the heck Doris is up to?  And the finger of suspicion is also cast on Lovisa (though I don't know when she'll find the time).  And what's with Dreamscale casting suspicion on Coop - maybe he just wants to be a suspect so he'll last further into the game.

Did I mention that the more we suspect you are the killer the more likely the killer is to keep you around?  The only way for the killer to survive is for you to be more suspicious than them.

Giselle's last name was actually "Santiago", not "Silva".

What was Coop doing with her passport?

This sure is one sexually wild town!!!

Giselle's last name was actually "Santiago", not "Silva".

What will Dennis do with the stain on his image? How will Mark convince "Big Hairy Dick" Hawkins he's innocent? Does Doris explode with religious fervor? Can Chrisitan make change for a $5 bill? Does Tommy double up with Lovisa or is she losing interest? How doe Coop explain his lust triangle with Lovisa and Giselle and not end up in the pokey? Find out the answers to maybe some of these questions in T minus 48 hours or there abouts.

The map is updated and it's grademan's turn.

Well done Toby!  You sure had Lovisa hopping around like a bunny.  And an interesting turn that both she and Coop knew Giselle. And Hawkin's is next on Doris's sinner list.  I wonder what Doris is doing with that list?  Good stuff.

Sounds like every single character is guilty here!  I thought Coop was a good guy, but it sure doesn't look like it any longer.  Tommy's quite the character, both giving and taking.  Maybe Lovisa's rash will go away now that Tommy's shaved.  Is Hawk dead?

So many questions, so few answers...who is killing everyone here?

Well done grademan! Things get curiouser and curiouser.  I'm wondering if Hawkins is really dead myself.

The map is updated and JonnyBoy is up next.  Maybe we'll learn a bit more about Doris and her list.

Is someone going to shave Sherriff Hawkins' "big hairy dick", or did he lose all that hair in the explosion?

Funny how this has trangressed into such a sexual story.  Funny shit!!!!

I feel I'm betraying you all when I tell you that there's no sex in my entry at all! Following the explosive events of the last entry, I'm trying to cram in plot points and intrigue. I'm fighting against the word limit, having to cut a lot.

Hopefully, what it lacks in nookie, it more than makes up for in drama. You WILL discover more about Doris, and there's also a revelation I'm pretty sure you won't see coming...

I don't really understand why we're encouraged to email someone our post, but anyone want a read? I'm pretty much done with it, I'll post it later tonight.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Looking forward to your entry Jonny, let's hope 'Big Hairy Dick' can keep his weapon in his underwear this time.

And you can send it to me, however, I might not get a chance to read it for a few hours... When you planning on posting it up?

Because in the first killer game people got a little out there with their entries, this discouraged the other people playing.   Having a buddy read it catches those discouraging things and gives people a chance to fix things up before they post.

Well done, Johnny!  Well done!  A few typos and the like, but what you've written is solid...and defintely intriguing.

Glad old hairy dick Hawkins survived.  Not sure what's up with Coop and Christian, but 1 thing I know is that Christian is a fucking freak and a half!

Also like the revelation of the mutilated body being Lovisa's love child.

All around, a very solid entry here.  Nicely done!

Who's the fucking killer here?  It's funny, cause after each entry, I have different feelings about who's killing everyone.  I wonder if there are actually more than 1 killer?

Cool stuff...can't wait for the next entry...

Ho Ho Ho.  The plot thickens.  Well done Jonny. But did you mean it was the nest day or the next day.  A good proofread from a buddy would have caught that.    Just kidding - you did a good job.

The map has been updated and me is up next. I wonder how Lovisa is going to react to the new revelations.

Thanks guys. Hopefully this adds a little bit of depth to Doris...a bit of sympathy for her, perhaps, despite her prickly nature and violent actions? But what will happen to her once people start asking where the Reverend has gone?

What's going on with Mark's arrest? Is he guilty, or is he part of a bigger plan? Will Christian be allowed to leave town? Or does he know too much to be allowed to sail off into the sunset?

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if this leaves the door open for Tomas Stephenson to make an appearance at some point. After all, if Annika tracked her down, why couldn't he? And what will Tomas' reaction be to an eventual meeting? Joy, shock...or anger?

New development

Three characters are now being slated for an untimely demise in round 2.  However, to spice things up a bit, at the end of round 2 a discovery will be made.  One of the four characters that are dead will be found to be actually alive.  Which character is it? And most importantly, could that character be the killer?

Nice entry Jonny, well done mate. Originally when you said that Lovisa's other child was called Tomas I thought it was the Tommy from the story... That would have been seriously fucked up!!

But yeah, good entry, nice backstory for Doris. And I like the plan for the next round Cornetto, great idea.

Lets hope my character gets out of jail soon as well

That's a good point, actually. The names Tomas and Tommy ARE too similar, If Tomas were to turn up (which of course is by no means certain). then that could be confusing.

If no-one has a problem with it, I'm gonna go back and change the name 'Tomas' to something else.

EDIT: I've changed it to Johan.

Nice entry Pia, very nice! Not too happy about Tommy's face turning into a bloody pulp, but oh well... Tommy must have done something real bad to deserve that. Or maybe Coop is just not a nice person?!

Was Tommy's confession due to Lovisa's truth telling spell? Or was it because Tommy's con man powers were trimmed off by Lovisa's scissors? I prefer not to know. :0

Wow, that was quick xerces_ and it gave us lots to think about.  Wonder how someone's going to explain Giselle.

And just as a note: (you didn't know xerces_, it's because of the first killer game) you're not allowed to bring anyone back to life without me asking.

Well Tommy's up next and I'm sure he'll have his hands full while his tongue wags.

My vote is for twin sister. Identical twin sister. So it's Giselle...but not.

OR...cloning? Perhaps not.

Whatever you do, we can't disregard it. It's there now. I'm trying to work out why Doris, who loathes sinners, would be wearing a sinner's skin!

Did the order change here without me realizing it?  I had a different order down for the 2nd round.

I also thought that you could only kill of yourself, or a character not associated with any of the writers.  I'm really confused now.

Doris has turned into Leatherface?

Giselle has returned from the dead.

ET phone home!

I sense an imminent retcon...

INT. LOVISA'S BEDROOM - MORNING

LOVISA. wakes up, hears the shower running

The bathroom doors opens...and ANDREW comes out, wrapped in a towel.

ANDREW
What's the matter, baby?

SHOCK on Lovisa's face as she realises all of it, the whole past season, was all a dream...

Nah, no-one would do come up with something THAT stupid.

^^ Damn you for ruining my next go you pesky man!!

But on another note I look forward to seeing Tommy's entry... I still want to know why exactly the Mayor threw Mark a get-out-of-jail-for-free card, so that he could run the task-force... Hmm.

Everything is very simple...all you have to do is follow the rules.  If soemone needs help with their entry, there are lots of sources of help here.

Can someone answer a few questions for me?

Did the order change from what it was previously listed as for the 2nd round, or am I losing it?

I thought main characters couild onl;y be killed off by actual writer of that character?

I'm very confused...

Well, I thouight that 3 characters were going to "seemingly", and then would surprisingly be alive after the end of round 2.  But now, Christian is way past possibly coming back to life, and Giselle has came back to life.  If nothing else, Doris is now obviously a sicko who wears Leatherface masks.

I THINK the plan is that 3 characters will die in round 2 - meaning that by turn 16, 4 characters will be dead. BUT the twist will be that it will turn out, most probably in Pia's turn, that ONE of the characters - one of the 4 - will actually be alive.

That's how I understood it. Since Christian has been disembowelled and now skinned, I assume he won't be the one coming back!

Good job Tommy, you got things going in the right direction, loved the mayor bit lol, great stuff there, and what does Tommy see at Lovisa's, I guess we're gonna have to wait and find out

Nicely done Tommy.  I especially liked that ending.  Really leaves us all hanging.  I had to invent a new location on the map for you. ?.  Simply Nowhere. That is where Lovisa is atm.  When someone goes there it's any guess where they might be.  She certainly wasn't specifically at the Mayor's office - but I suspect it's her.  Though I'm not going to be the one to make that decision - therefore a new location.

Jonnyboy is up next.  I can't send him an email until I get home from work though.

Umm...

Let me try and work out where we are at this point. I think we need to establish what situation every character is in before I start actually working out what I'm going to write - stop the confusion now.

So.

We've been reset to some point between Doris gouging out part of Mark's neck, and Mark being dragged into the Mayor's office. So somewhere between the second half of turn 9 and the first half of turn 10, meaning the recruitment of Mark and Dennis to the mayor's 'task force', Doris' 'Leatherface moment' and the re-appearance of Giselle have all been ret-conned out of existence. That much I think we can all agree on.

The question is, what things still stand? Between those two moments, the following things happened:

- Dennis went to see the mayor, was told he was in a meeting, and promised to come back.

- Christian revealed to Lovisa that he was her son, the missing Johan, that he jerks off to her sex tapes (which yes, DOES gross her out, Christian), and also told Lovisa about Annika's demise, before she threw him out.

- Christian had his head caved in by an unknown, hammer-wielding assailant, who then dragged him out of sight.

- Dennis met the Mayor, who ignored the fact that Dennis was the one who requested the meeting and instead announces his intention to have him and Mark work undercover to gather information about the killings.

- Doris broke into Christian's house, to find him found carved up in a similar way to Annika. She then brings out the butcher's/sewing kit, and rolls his body over.

How much of that do people think should stand? Obviously I could just make a decision, and perhaps erase all of it, everything from after the moment Doris attacks Mark. Do we keep Christian's murder (I could just be really mean and kill him myself)? If so, do we keep the scene beforehand, in which he reveals himself to be Johan? It would seem opportunistic, and frankly flat-out rude, for me to take the chance to erase the fact that Christian is Lovisa's son, although honestly I'd personally like to do that, or at least write the scene differently. However, like I say, that feels like I'm overstepping the mark.

I think we should work out what situation Christian's in before anything else. Anyone got an opinion? There's no problem with Dennis demanding a meeting with the mayor, although I'm going to consider the actual meeting erased. And I'm not going to have Doris break back into Christian's house. So really. we need to work out whether Christian is dead or alive - essentially, whether everything up to the end of turn 9 stands. Once we've done that, then I'll just quickly recap where we are in the story before I write my entry.

Oh, and one last thing, really for Tommy: Coop pretty much smashed Tommy's face in, and Tommy revealed to Lovisa that he'd been scouting out her wealth, possibly with the intention of conning her. Now, that all happened BEFORE the dream-bit. Tommy would probably have a broken nose, at the very least considerable bruising and swelling. He's also chased out of Lovisa's house by Coop, who runs after him and intends to report him to Hawkins. And yet after he wakes up, Tommy doesn't seem to be in a particularly bad physical state, and he's neither been caught OR reported to the police, since he can wander the streets freely. He's also heading back to Lovisa's house, but she definitely knows he's a crook because she found out BEFORE the dream. Is all that right? Is Tommy in pain, are the police still looking for him, and does Lovisa know about his wicked ways? I'm going to assume the answer to all three is 'yes'.

'Fraid I haven't even thought about what I'm going to write yet! Except I need to explain why Doris appears to have caught a mild form of the Rage virus. Think we need to sort this first, before any more is written.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Christian is definitely dead. I think MC instructed Jordan to kill him.

When I wrote about Tommy getting beat up by Coop, I only had in mind a regular beating. Nothing that would affect him too much physically other than a broken nose, maybe a missing tooth and a busted lip, swollen eye. That sort of thing...  In my mind Coop beat him up because of the house explosion...

Johnny, you did a good job even coming up with these questions, and trying to figure out what is real and what should be considered part of the dream.

Someone smashed Christian's head, but do we know he's defintely dead?  I don't think so.

Is Tommy on the run from the law with a beat up face and alot of explaining to do? I think he should be.

Should there be a task force, consisting of a portly aging comedian and the #1 MMA fighter in the world, who was just in jail on murder charges?  No, I don't think there should be, as there's no where for it to go, and it doesn't make a bit of sense.

It's tough at this point, based on where we've gone, and how we've lost the trail.

Maybe the way back is through circles of manipulation.

Tommy influenced Christian and tried to con Lovisa and tried to get Andrew's money. What would a great con man do now?

We know Lovisa is wise to Tommy and has her ways. How does she feel about her dead twins? Can Tommy do one more grand scheme using the twins. What does Tommy see at Lovisa's?

Doris tries to make everyone on her list see her view of right and wrong -- however off balance. She can go "Hannibal" from what we've seen or dreamed.

Coop and Mark consider using their skillls together and try to redeem their good guy image of themselves.

Dennis can play the joking, portly guy who knows everyone and no one. He can influence the mayor to go to Australia. He can befriend Mark and Coop to a greater extent.

Meanwhile, we have several chapters to kill off two more killers - Christian and Andrew are dead - for now.

Just a few ideas...

I would say that everything up through the end of Jordan's post is real.  Then it's a dream through to the middle of Tommy's post.  It's really good to see you guys collaborating though, keep it up.

I actually LOL-ed at that sentence, as I feel the exact same way. If Mark and Dennis did continue their task force, I was going to have some pretty amusing dialogue with them themselves questioning why the Mayor wanted the task force to be run by a suspected murderer and a drunk who has tendencies to urinate on people's front doors. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board for that piece of dialogue!

THat is quite funny, huh?  I forgot about the pissing on front doors!  Damn, that's really funny. I guess we move into the comedy realm with this new dynamic duo.

I wonder how they'll go about gathering their evidence.  The 1 dude could just beat it out of people, and the other guy could try and laugh it out of them.  maybe the Mayor could put on that wig that Tommy was wearing and go undercover with them?

Okay, it's up. Not 100% satisfied with it, but what with work n'all I've found it hard to make the time. Hopefully it's vaguely intruiging. I know there's a lot about NPCs, but they're important NPCs. There's also a murder.

I didn't include Doris because I really don't know what journey she has left at this point. I honestly thought she'd die this round. I considered sticking her into a coma, maybe having her hit by a car or something, but in the end I didn't have space to include her at all.

An excellent entry Jon.  Well worth the wait. Loved the depth you brought to Lovisa and Tommy's characters. And the plot does definitely thicken.

The map has been updated and grademan and Toby have been switched in order.

Dreamscale is up next.  There's still two more characters that will be leaving us this round. Will Coop be one of them?

Jonny!!  Very ambitious and well thought out.  Nice back story and another killer revealed.  You really did a great job of putting this all togther and tying up some good plot threads.

Only negative, and trust me, I was smiling while I read the entire post, is that the dialogue was up there with the largest of noses ever.  But, in the same breath, I'll tell you that I don't see another way to get as much info out (and good info at that) in 1 post, and my hat's off to you.

Excellent job!

Just read your submission Toby! Good one!

Just one question...  Was Lovisa's pink thong the same one that Christian used to wear? That would be sort of on the sick side...

Good stuff Toby.

Poor Mark.

I would have liked to see Tommy talk his way out of jail instead of bash the woman up though.

OK guys and gals...we're just about there.  Need to give it another quick proof, pound down a drink, and it should be posted within the hour.

Hope you guys like it.  It's getting tough with all these different plots going on.

You dirty minded sinner, you!

Good job.  One slight issue, Doris did the skin thing in Tommy's dream.  Well, if we have to make it real, then it's real.

And Coop didn't go this turn, that leaves one of the other two - will it be Lovisa? Will it be Dennis?

Grademan is up next and either way he will answer that question.

Oh boy, we got ourselves a problem.

The whole thing with Doris and wearing the skin was turned into a dream in my post.

Very funny last scene though.

Damn!  I forgot that Doris' Leatherface scene was a dream.  I tried to read everything and make sure where everyone was.  It didn't click with me about that dream scene including Doris.

What do you want me to do?

Sorry, guess I fucked up...maybe that old pump needs to be refurbished?  I always try and deliver as firmly as possible, but this entry may be a bit on the limp side.

If you change it quick so that's she's covered in blood rather than covered in skin.  That would work.

OK, fixed and reposted.

Sorry about that...I'm having trouble understanding what's real and what's a dream.  Tried to stick with what I knew was going on for sure.  Wanted to throw old Doris in there, as we haven't seen her in awhile.  I decided against including Dennis, cause I wasn't sure where he was or what he was up to.  Sorry, but he's fair game for the next post for sure.

I think it's safe to say at this point, that we have multiple killers at work here.  Cornetto is a sly, sneaky dog...in a good way!

Don't know exactly where we're headed, but 1 thing remains constant...Lovisa gets her fair share of sex, and although the guys  (and gals) may think they're using her, it probably is actually the other way around.  The Swede gets what she's after, when she wants it.  Bravo, Lovisa!

Lots of possibilities in this next post.  Looking forward to it!!!

This game is a lot of fun! I think all of you have done a great job.

My character sure is getting a lot of action for an old broad!    I'll make sure more will come.

I have decided who to bring back to life... it'll be in a sickish sort of way too, but hey, anything goes in this story!

Sorry guys on the brevity on my last post. I was determined to do a visual piece with little or no dialouge. When I finished the draft, my mind was mush.

I...had...to...post...or my brain would explode.

The only graphic I couldn't get in was of Hawk's "big, hairy dick". How do you do justice except perhaps in an overlong montage?

Also, I wish I had written explicit subtext into Lovisa's and Tommy's exchange

LOVISA
I hate you!
I love you Tommy! Fuck me anytime!

TOMMY
Bitch!
And I love you! Be right over!

But maybe that's too much for Tommy and Lovisa to handle right now.

Thanks for noting the visuals!

Wow! Hmm! Shocker.

What a wake up - Naughty Naugthy Doris. Will the orgy continue?  Or have they gone too far?

Christian is back but for how long?

I'll update things as soon as I have some coffee.  But I will decide who's next.

Ok updated the map.  Jonny boy is up next.

Is Doris the next to go or will she be a survivor?

You all lead me down this way...

I tried to add a new twist, Making Doris a little less deranged and then adding a clue to something totally new and different going on with Doris and Lovisa.

Anyway, I had fun writing it... I'm weird'ish I know!!

Absolutely gross, depraved and reprehensible. Pia, I would expect no less from you.

I have an idea of what to do next. Stop me if you disagree, but I think we've pretty much written ourselves into a corner at this point. Apart from the main storyline, of course, I don't think we have anywhere really left to go. So what I'm going to do is 'reset' things, to a certain degree. Not get rid of anything that's gone before, just put us in a position where we can start the last round anew.

I know what I'm going to write, and have made a start on it. I'll have it up by the end of the day. I have a feeling that I'm going to be fighting against the word limit again!

My intention was to create some mystery about why Lovisa and Doris seem to know each other. Maybe Doris isn't who she pretended to be.

Doris has been through some strange scenarios so far and I wanted to show that maybe it's all a facade.

I still think everyone's done a great job and I've had fun reading and writing.

I really wasn't criticising you, Pia! Your entry was great. I just think that in order to keep things moving in the same direction I'd have to try and top it, which I don't think I could do. So I'm going to try something else.

Hopefully, if this turns out the way I want it to, then it should be something quite good. I'm trying to give it the feeling of a season premiere, so the last round will really be Season 2 of 'Lake Simply'. It'll be up by the end of the day...watch this space.

I was only trying to explain my thinking. It's hard sometimes to take what someone else wrote and follow the intended plot because we have no idea what the thinking behind it was, but on the other hand, that's also what makes this one fun.

Yeah, although some stuff had to be cut due to the word limit. It was originally slightly more...colourful. For instance, the first line was supposed to read:

'Everyone stares at Doris. A big drop of Christian's love-juice falls off the tip of her nose and hits the carpet with a SPLAT.'

And the scene with Lovisa and Christian ended up being about a third of its original length...let's just say Lovisa wasn't originally wearing a coat at the start.

Still, never mind!

- And of course the end.

Great work.

Don't say that! The idea was to open up new avenues, not kill the game! And I made Coop mayor!

I wanted Doris to have a resolution, some fleeting moment of happiness before she died. It's a tied and tested trick - give your character a moment of hope, maybe even a happy ending, and THAT's when you kill them off. Poor Doris.

I reckoned bringing someone back from the dead must have some side effects. Christian doesn't look too good...but just how screwed-up is he? Tommy's been away for a long time - why is he back in town?

Hopefully grademan will know what to do next. Quite sad I'm done contributing to this game...I've really enjoyed it! Looking forward to everyone's entries.

Nice entry grademan.

Wonder what Lovisa and Tommy were on about?

Wonder who'll be the next character to go?

Welcome back Toby

It's your turn.

great entry Gary!

I personally think it's either Lovisa or Tommy, but who knows? Cornetto won't spill the beans on who the killer is.

Hope Spain was good Toby! I always loved the Spanish riviera myself and some of their islands... just wish I could remember more about my trips there.

I suddenly have a craving for Sangria...

Hey guys, just letting you know that I might have to post up my entry a few hours late today. So yeah, unless I can get my entry finished in the next 30 mins I will be posting it up a bit later.

Na, Hawk's not dead. To quote Coop: "You don't know the Hawk. You can't kill him that easy." Shot in the chest, yes. But until he actually breathes his last, ya can't write him off.

Good one, Toby! Looking forward to seeing what Lovisa will be up to. Still have no idea who's been going round killing everyone!

Guess who's back? Back again?

How can Coop bore you?  He's gone from Safety and Recreation to Mayor.  He bangs Lovisa every Tuesday.  He banged Giselle in a Menaje with Lovisa, and then, he partook in another Menaje with Lovisa and Hawk, of all people.  What's to bore?

That post made me laugh for about 10 seconds straight... It might be because I just got home from the club, but that post was pure comic genius. Coop and Hawkins are both legends!! (I wish I was as good with the ladies as old hairy Dick Hawkins).

I've written many G and PG rated scripts. In fact the only scripts of mine that has won competitions have been G or PG. They usually don't go over too well here though where people seem to prefer a little darker and dirtier stuff.

I'll try to please you though. Promise!

The deadline approaches! Really looking forward to your entry, Pia. If Lovisa IS going, I'm going she's going out in a blaze of dirty, twisted glory.

Who does everyone think the Killer is? My money's on Coop or Lovisa...Tommy is too obvious. Unless there's more than one, of course.

It seems to me that Tommy is the only one capable of all these kills.  I think Coop and Lovisa have alibis for mot of them, don't they?  The only other possibility is that Hawk's big, old hairy dick was the killer...kind of like a piercing weapon...

Here, I believe is the kill count for this game before episode 20 is posted by Lovisa:

1 = EPISODE 1: Jane Doe (later revealed to be Annika, Lovisa's daughter)
1 =              3: Andrew boat explosion
2 =              4: Giselle and another body found in water
2 =              7: Hawk survives explosion; deputy doesn't; Rev'd Douglas iron Jesus
1 =              9: Christian with a hammer outside Lovisa's
1 =             12: Mayor is poisoned in office w/scotch (admits to having Annika killed)
1 =             13: Mark is killed in his home gym; voicemail reveals he killed Annika
1 =             14: Noze Parker is killed by Hawk in car accident
1 =             15: Dennis is whacked with a microphone stand at the comedy club
-1 =             16: Christian/Johan is brought back to life
1 =             17: Doris is shot by sniper
1 =             19: Hawk is shot at home presumably dead

12= TOTAL KILLS

Do you remember where Christian, Lovisa, Tommy and Coop were for the character kills? Believe me it was easier to list out kill scenes rather than sex scenes!

Hey Gary, I think you're correct other than 1 extra body.  The "another body found in water" in episode 4 was Andrew, wasn't it?  I think I wrote that one, and that was defintely my intention.

I think Tommy is defintely the killer.  The fact that it is too obvious is most likely a ploy to throw suspision elsewhere.

Death by 24 incher!!  That kind of shit don't happen too often...huh?

Nice Pia!  As always, you have delivered.. Lots of great shots in there.

Who is the killer? Tommy!!!  It's 3 balls Pascal, I think.  He hides weapons in all that hair.  Coop just doesn't have the hair to hide that sort of weaponry.

We need all the Killers to post pics on the pic thread.  C'mon guys and gals!!  Let's get 'em up...

Hey, Mike, you're not allowed to comment in here!  Just kidding...

Tommy, if you have Coop having sex with anyone other than Lovisa (or some hot new babe, you intro), I will definitely write you into a gay sex ring, and have the FBI come down literally on your ass, and the final scene of the script will be you in jail, being gang rpaed by white supremists.

HA!!!!!

Funny, how everyone is all of a sudden trying to throw the blame toward someone else.

Maybe that 24 inch dildo has been secretly killing everyone?  Could be...

MoooHAHA!!!!!!!

I'm tempted to, but I've got too much other crap going on atm.  I think what we are going to do is skip to the next to the last turn.  Who that person is - only I and that person will know until they post.

After this next turn - we vote.

Who is the killer?  As I've said all along, it's Tommy!!!!!!!  Now, I KNOW IT'S TOMMY!!!!!!

I tried to make both tommy or coop look like they could be the killer, i also know we needed everything up to that point explained, it's a lot easier to do with fewer people left alive.  i know who the killer is, i figured it out last week.

Nice entry Jordan and a fitting climax.  Well set up to find out who the Killer really is.

Time to vote everyone.  You have 24 hours.

Send me a PM with either of the following in the subject.

The Killer is TommyP.

--or--

The Killer is Dreamscale.

If you get it right, we get justice.

If you get it wrong, we get a last victim.

You decide.

Great entry Jordan!

Pity about my character killing a little kid... naughty me. She was probably really annoying anyway. And would have grown up to have a shit job, a screenwriter or something.

Then they BOTH die! And Coop's dog Chomper, which was in his bio but never featured, is revealed to be the Killer!

Mwahahahaha....

Damn, Chomper could have been a great addition to a Coop/ Lovisa sex scene... Doing what he does best: Chomping. I'm annoyed I only just thought of that!!

Yeah, what happened to Chomper?  I wonder if Coop's been feeding him or if he's just been neglected, and has starved?  How could we forget about good old Chomper?

The votes are in and by the narrowest of margins, Dreamscale has been voted as the Killer. Let's hope you're right.  We'll find out in the next post.

Chomper would have been a great character to use. Weird how we all overlooked that one.

Nicely done Jeff.

Good wrap up of the events at Lake Simply.

I think though, we could use an epilogue from our new Master Killer Tommy.

Congratulation Tommy on stealing the title!

Dreamscale, excellent series finale! If Tommy can bear to sit down , I'd like an epilogue too.

I had a lot of fun with this one. Great job everyone!

Cool, glad you guys liked it.  It took awhile to come up with it.  Actually, nothing was coming to me, so I sat down this morning with a general idea, and the rest just came to me.

I wanted to put Chomper in and that's where everything came from.  Kind of wild how things come together sometimes.

Sorry Pia, I'll make the correction.

That's what I thought, too...but anyways, it's now changed to "revolver".

This was alot of fun.  As always, great job, Michael!  You put this all together so well, and the map really made everything feel "real".

Is that "Thief" game starting up soon?  All the positions filled?

We only have two players for the Thief game.  More are welcome. There's a limit of around eight though. If we get enough players then well start after the next OWC.

Suggested casting for your character?

Dennis - Andrew "Dice" Clay without leather

Cheap and colorful.

Revolvers and pistols are both guns, but revolvers and pistols are not the same...

At least that's what I was told in the gun safety class. Maybe I don't remember correctly. I could have been distracted by the instructor's enormous gun in his pocket.

Quoted from Wiki
The word "pistol" is often synonymous with the word "handgun". Some handgun experts make a technical distinction that views pistols as a subset of handguns. In American usage, the term "pistol" refers to a handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel, making pistols distinct from the other main type of handgun, the revolver, which has a revolving cylinder containing multiple chambers. However, Commonwealth usage makes no distinction at a technical level—"pistol" may refer to revolvers, semi-automatics, or muzzle-loading/cap-&-ball handguns. For example, the official designation of the Webley Mk VI was "Pistol, Revolver, Webley No. 1 Mk VI", and the designation "Pistol No. 2 Mk I" was used to refer to both the Enfield Revolver and the later Browning Hi-Power semi-automatic.

The first pistols were made as early as the 15th century, but their creator is unknown. By the 18th century, the term came to be used often to refer to handheld firearms. Practical revolver designs appeared in the 19th century, and it was in that century that the (sometimes-observed) technical differentiation in usage of the words "pistol" and "revolver" developed.

And then there were none, great last entry, everyone got what they deserved.  Sad to see the end of this dirty soap opera, but like all good things it must come to an ed.

Jodan,

It's a quite common Autralianism to end everything with 'y' or 'ie'. Tommy is just doing what he would normally do with a mate.

Tommy,

Good epilogue. I was a bit surprised that you choose to end it with Tommy getting his.  So nicely done, surprise ending and all.

Well done everyone.  I think this game/excercise went very well.  You all did a fantastic job.

Be sure to check out Thief if you haven't had enough yet.

Hmmm, why didn't Tommy go to jail for the murder of that little girl?  When did Coop have him locked up?  Ate his genitals?  Oh brother!

I was hoping Chomper would come back as a ghost dog and terrorize Lake Simply all over again.

Tommy...always the schemer...

Sorry Jordan, meant no offense.

Thanks Michael, I was torn between Tommy riding off with the money, and him being killed, but went with the latter. I think that it would also be fitting for him to have "won" and got what he wanted.

Jeff, Tommy can get his way out of anything, you should know that by now!

Just finished reading the last two parts: And I must say, they were two very good entries. Good work Tommy and Dreamscale

I'm glad Dreamscale was the killer, and I'm glad that Tommy got his just desserts...
