Obviously it was way too short!! Plus you basically just re-use the lines from the first movie and as far as I can tell there is absolutely no plot in this script what-so-ever. I can't believe I wasted five minutes of my time reading this retread of an original idea. |

Vanilla Sky was such a deep movie with lots of topics to discuss about. This would be a great place for those who have watched the movie to give their views and theories- so start posting! For note The Vanilla Sky 2 script is a mock script it’s not meant as a filming script and was meant to be short- it also had something to say about reincarnation, maybe y’all have something to say about that. |

Uh, yeah... seriously, what was this? If at all you were trying to make some sort of impressionable statement about reincarnation other than to mock and make light of it, I fail to see any merit in it. Just my opinion.
But if you were just throwing words together on a page and seeing what arose......

Even as a devout fan of Cameron Crowe, I hated Vanilla Sky. I thought it was a long, drawn out movie with a totally cheap ending. And yes, I've seen both the original and the American remake. I just thought the ending was what Annie Wilkes (from MISERY) would've called "a cheat." Cameron Crowe would've lost a foot for that ending. |

Man, that was rough and a tad uncalled for. What the hell is with all the fucking hostility around here these days, people?

well, look at her fucking threads lately- I don't know what her problem is. That last post was my first real hostile thread. I have not lost my cool once until now. Scott I respect you and I know you want to make peace but don't tell me to calm down. I am calm. It's lesley who is off her head. And if she keeps on making public personal attacks- have I ever give anyone shit? I tease Alan but I've not called him a wank or anything on the threads. so I told her now, for every little thing she wants to say about me and follow me around this board like some blonde I dropped I'll come with a better punch. |

I actually liked it. I share that sick sense of humor sometimes. Anthony, you re-hashed some of Tom Cruise's well-known catch-phrases in this nice little sketch. It's nice as a whimsied little sketch, but it's by no means a film. |

okay... I was out of order. It's not right for a gentleman to say something like that. I sincerly appologise lesley and I hope you can forgive me for what I said. I'm also gonna take this opportunity to appologise to Alan, so please direct him to this thread. I was just teasing you about Banana Chan. I think it's cool. I just thought it was funny went you went ape. I wish you all the success with it, I really do. I'm gonna bow out and leave the board. I encourage all of you, however, to discuss the craft of screenwriting debating each and every angle no matter how contraversial and take what people say with a pinch of salt. |

I like whimsied little sketches. I'm giving you a pat on the back. Being able to write sketches is the start of being able to write longer comedies. |
