I'm almost finished the first of the lunchroom scripts that I'm writing for Bruce.  I hope Casey's stomach's alright -- I hope it's not a major problem, because Casey's feeling well enough to draw a comic book in the episode I'm writing.

I just finished the first of my scripts for Bruce's series THE LUNCHROOM.  I'm e-mailing it to him tomorrow.  I wrote it directly after taking MANY notes from the first five episodes.  I'll write another episode after I read episodes six to eleven.  If the script I'm e-mailing to Bruce tomorrow doesn't fit in with the newer ones, he can call it a "lost episode" from season one.  (Or he could call it Episode 5.5, or something like that.).

In the episode, Casey draws a comic of the gang as if they were the Knights of the Round Table; meanwhile, Will goes through a short phase of wanting to be a stand-up comedian.

I've now officially read every episode that's been posted, and I'm re-editing certain things in the episode I wrote.  I'm still sending it to Bruce on Monday.

After being told he's funny, Will thinks that he might be a good comedian. Casey decides to draw the group as the Knights of the Round Table, only to be sidetracked by a dog. Joel and Chris have to deal with Mr. Drake, a sub who annoys them. Reicther attacks a man who he thinks is trying to rob him.

I can't say what happens to Brock (you'll see once Episode 2 is up.)

Very good teaser!

I guess you added Reicther stuff, eh?

I have only one concern.  Did you keep the scene where Will gets attacked?  That scene is an almost word-for-word dramatization of something that actually happenned to me when I was around his age...

Yo Bruce --

I see you changed things in the script in order to be truer to your characters than I was, et cetera.  You did exactly what I'd do if someone else were writing for one of my virtual shows.  With that said, I've got a lot of new respect for you -- dispite the fact that you deleted my favourite line, and my favourite scene -- and I'll happily submit more scripts for your series.

Cheers.

Sorry about cutting out the scene and line (what were they by the way?) but I'm glad you understand why I did it. Also I think it's cool that your making more THE CREATOR episodes. That is a great series.

The line was the one where Kirk mentioned how IN THE END by LINKIN PARK "works" with the video from the start of the playstation game FINAL FANTASY 8 (a thing I discovered myself), and I shouldn't tell you which scene, because I don't want to have a subliminal, negative impact on the logic behind your edits.

I agree. I think the KKK episode is probably the best thing we've written so far. Others I like are "Screw your Spirit" "I'm Up Here", "A Tale of Two Brides", and "Comics and Comedians."

Sometime in the near future I would love to release the "original" Pilot Episode. It was much much longer and explained things in great detail. I'll probably do it when Season 2 ends and I'm taking a break before Season 3.

Also, If anyone has a favorite character, tell me. I'd love to hear your views.

Bruce -- I'm only a quarter way through my process of creating that new Lunchroom script.  I've been too distracted.  And I've gotta go to my cousin's wedding this weekend.  I imagine I'll be finished on Wednesday, though.  Is that too late?

It's up to Bruce.  If he tells you to be on my team, you'll follow my orders, and you'll be subject to my edits before Bruce vetoes my edits.  That's if you want to go the collaboration route.  If you want to write entire episodes yourself, then you're only subject to Bruce's edits.  And Bruce, you'll have the script on Wednesday... I went to the Galaxy Theater in Regina to see Spiderman 2 this weekend -- Saskatoon has many big screens, but none big enough for Spiderman 2, so I had to go out of town this weekend, to an awesome theater, to see it.  That's one of the reasons why the script isn't finished yet.

Glad to see that "Prozac Candy" is finally up. Plus, it's in HTML. Probably, from now on, all the episodes will be in that format.

The next episode up should be "Suicidals Deserve to Die." It's the combination of three unfished episodes. It's written by Bruce, Alan Holman, and Tyler Schwartz.

I just got in interesting 'message' from a close friend of of the person I based Kirk on. I thought this was interesting because I never got an email about the character:

"i was going through the site you told me about, and only had a chance to read the one with the druggie. i think what you did in that one is very mean."

[I ask why]

"because your making fun of him. your making him out to be someone he's not."

[I tell her that's the way he is around me]

"no he isn't! he doesn't do half the stuff you say.

[I say whatever]

"change the character's name for future episodes"

(Me: Why?]

"because he could sue you for character slander. if I were him i would have done it by now."

Later I found that she was in a bad mood and admitted to liking the episode. I thought it was weird that I had an outburst about the show. We've received a few other small complitents but nothing like that.

I like Kirk.  I've tried to find ways to include him in content I've written for you in the past, and I'll try to find ways to include him in content I'll write for you in the future.  Because he's a druggie, the protagonists of the series view him in a negative light -- as impressionable teens should, lest they become druggies themselves; however, some of my favorite people in the world happen to be druggies, and therefore I want to eventually write an episode for you in which Kirk is the hero of the plot.  I don't want the episode to encourage drug use, but I do want the episode to encourage tolerance of people who have made the "life choice" of using drugs recreationally, because I don't think cannibus should be illegal.  Cigarettes are far more harmful to the health of smokers, and second hand smokers, than marijuana will ever be.

I'll have to read the show soon. It sounds like an excellent virtual series, and could be a good throwback to my high school days.

On a more serious note, I think Alan raises some excellent points... and while I don't agree with all of them, I do think an episode focusing on Kirk sounds like a terrific and bold idea.

Good luck in the future guys.

Thank you, Alan. Those two are some of my favourites also. I think the series is it's best when we spoof or do a satire about something. Examples: "Prozac Candy" was about addiction; "Never Mind the Bollocks" was about everyone's fear about terrorisism; "Politically Incorrect" was about racism.

They're my favorite episodes to write. Anyway, he's a list of some of the most popular episodes, in order (these were taken from asking people their favorites)

01. Politically Incorrect
02. Never Mind the Bollocks
03. I'm Up Here
04. Comics and Comedians
05. Screw Your Spirit
06. A Tale of Two Brides: A Mormon's Tale
07. Prozac Candy
08. The Risk
09. What Was That?
10. Cold Blue

Next episode up is "I've Got It Bad and That Ain't Good" where Will has a hallucnation and thinks he sees actor Richard Belzer...weird ain't it? But that's not the only thing that happens, they're be other things to satisfy you.

Last night I was inspired.  I have an idea for an episode.  Since you've got a far better grasp on the characters than I do, I won't write the entire episode; instead, I'll e-mail a few scenes to you, with a summary of the rest of the idea.  I'll e-mail that before friday, and maybe you'll be able to work with it.

The end of the season is coming very soon.

The next 3 episodes are all connected. All three take place on the same night of the spring dance with 3 different perspectives. Part 1 will be what happens to Casey who is at a 'special' program. Part 2 will focus on Will, Joel, and Chris at the dance where Will has some medical problems. Part 3 will focus on Brian, Brock, Stacy, and Reicther. While having an 'anti-dance' night, Brian has a revalation; Stacy meets an interesting girl; Reicther battles a pest in his room.

After that, episode 13 will be the one Alan was talking about above. Then that should end Season 2.

There will be a short break before Season 3 begins. I'm hoping to have more scenes in the Lunchroom and actually have a full season with 22 episodes. (if I can ever make it.)

PS
Alan, I'm using more unused material of yours for Episode 9 "That Ain't Good" which will be posted soon.

This is some good comedy. It is very crisp writing.

With the right director, it could actually go places.

I'd like to try to lend my services for season three, if possible.

Bruce, about the fuill 22 episodes, keep the 13/season.
It makes it much more involving and personal to the audience.

I've decided to keep going with the 13/season idea.

It is more involving and personal that way.

Yes.

So far, it's me, Vincent Biga, you, MaxMajMan.

Hopefully, I can get Alan do an episode for the new season. But he might be busy with the new BANANA CHAN.

Elliot Butler expressed interest but I haven't heard from him in a while.

Tyler Schwartz (co-writer of "Suicidals Deserve to Die") will probably be back to do another episode.

Well first, you pitch ideas to me. And then I do it to you.

We end up using some, some we don't.

When I've decided on final storylines then we begin.

When you pitch your ideas, email me them at glick12345@yahoo.com

I'd be interested in submitting some ideas... maybe doing one or two episodes as well. I'm becoming nostalgic about my own High School days. Might be nice to try my hand at a comedy/drama virtual series.

Yes, Alan. I really liked it a lot. It sort of gives a new view on Kirk.

One problem. The Will and Stacy thing was resolved in Ep 7 "Suicidals Deserve to Die." She basically thought it was a joke.

Just giving a heads up on that. But "Kirk's Party" will be the newest episode.

Ouch.  Surely, Will didn't just get over it that easily, did he?  It could have been milked for all its comic potential.  Regardless, it doesn't matter to me.  Thanks for accepting the "Kirk's Party" idea -- I'll try to submit ideas in future seasons.

Just a note to folks:  The idea for "Kirk's Party" was mine; however, I didn't write the entire episode.  Likewise, because I'm busy with other writing, I plan to submit scenes and ideas for the next season of THE LUNCHROOM; however, because I still don't feel a complete connection with the characters, I won't be submitting entire episodes; therefore, I'll understand when some of the scenes and ideas I submit go straight into the trash can or recycle bin.  There'll be no hard feelings, and I'll continue to try, because Lunchroom kicks ass.

I think your selling yourself short on "Kirk's Party" Alan. I mean you did write the first 10 pages and provided plent of ideas about how to finish it. And we really never throw ideas away, but keep around never knowing when they might be useful.

Right now, the episode "Fahrenheit 7/11" might be changed and replaced with a different episode. This comes about after I read it over again and found it to be a little weak.

I got some ideas, some for characters, some for plots. Nothing real concrete yet. I have a feel for Reichter and I think Will, but Casey and Chris are going to take some time. I think I understand Casey's deal, but not all that well. Stacey is still a mystery to me.

I'm thinking about those Sleep Number matresses.

Well here's what going down:

After a sudden change, me and Vincent Biga are currently fixing episodes 11, 12, and 13. But I'm always thinking about the future.

Alan Holman just sent me a bunch of hilarious episode ideas which also have  a few scenes to go with them. They were some funny ideas, man. I'm definetly going to use them.

Max  Majernik (aka MaxMajMan) has just turned an a full episode. Once again, some really funny stuff. Expect to see it in Season 3.

Edward Drogos has just begun writing an episode. While I don't want to give too much away, it's a very funny take on 'road trips.'

That's what going down with Season 3 so far. I'm just surprised that we've gotten this many people to help us out.

You've gotten a lot of help, and you'll continue to get more help, because THE LUNCHROOM is an awesome, original concept, that IS sellable.  HBO would benefit from some of the funnier scripts within this series.  One of the great things about THE LUNCHROOM is that episodes can become round-table discussions between some very interesting characters, while still holding true to the title.  There are many great scripts so far, and if the series is sold, a large proportion of those scripts ARE VERY GOOD!  I don't doubt that some scripts would be dropped from the production roster; however, it's such a strong series that it's causing quite a stir online even though it's not even produced!

Okay. I must change my mind more often then John Kerry.

Again...a schedule change:

I just sent in "Kirk's Party" in for Episode 9, but Episodes 10 it's going to be "Fast Car." It was an episode meant for Season 3, but I liked it so much that i decided to replace the Camping episode with it.

Thank you to Bill Carwin of Baltimore. Mr. Carwin showed me this chart. While it isn't anything special, I found it interesting:

WILL COOPER:
Does not Appear in the Following Episodes:
2x12 "Fooling Myself"

BRIAN VANDELE:
Does not Appear in the Following Episodes:
2x02 "The Risk"

JOEL MAYBERRY
Does not appear in the following Episodes:
1x03 "Screw Your Spirit"
1x04 "Hope for the Best, Expect the Worst"

CASEY JENNINGS
Does not appear in the following Episodes:
2x03 "I'm Up Here"
2x08 "Never Mind the Bollocks"
2x12 "Fooling Myself"

STACY CIFARETTO
Does not appear in the following Episodes:
2x09 "Kirk's Party"

CHRIS HUGHES
Does not appear in the following Episodes:
2x03 "I'm Up Here"
2x12 "Fooling Myself"

Apparently Brock Warner and Reicther are the only two characters that have appeared in EVERY episode. (Or Maybe I need to double check.)

From my understanding Season 3 won't be for some time, Bruce and I have our own larger projects we want to work on for a time, also Bruce has told me he wants to make season 3 longer than the first two by a considerable amount so keep the ideas comming even though they might now be posted for a long while.  Note this is all my understanding of things Bruce changes his mind more than John Kerry it could have changed.

Just wondering Bruce, were those storylines for the next season you mentioned in “My Work In Progress” for individual episodes or are going to be threaded through the whole season?

Sorry. I was gone for a funeral.

eddied2 -
Most of those storylines are going to be be threaded throughout the Season, while some will just be one episode deals.

Max -
Our Start Date will hopefully be around the end of October/First of November. Also, I thought I sent Vince a copy of your episode, but I'll do it again just to be safe. Also I look forward to your new episode.

And Vince is right. Since we're going a ton of ideas, I'm extending the Season to 16 episodes, instead of 13. This way we can fit everyone in.

I think it'd be nice if this thing could be sustained as a weekly series that lasts forever, without seasonal breaks, because I always get a kick out of the scripts, and I can't wait to read, and sometimes contribute to, the next one.  That's just my opinion.

Well the show has gotten a lot of praise but their has been some...interesting output ont he show.

Here's what one reader had to say:

"...the series is getting statle...there hasn't been a good episode since season 1...all the episodes are the same...the characters are the same it's like 6 versions of the same person..."

I'm not mad or anything. Kinda wanted to hear it actually.

The episodes do have a similarity to them, but they are different enough, you know? Yes, there could be more character development, it's just a matter of what is in the form of our show or not.

Interesting Facts and Comments:

Season 1

Episode 01 "Things Fall Apart"
-Original Titles: "Pilot"; "The Lunchroom Pilot"; "More Than This"; "Welcome to the Group"; "Welcome to Centerville"; "The New Guy"; "The Group"; "Will's Proposal"; "Another Day".
-This episode establishes a lot: Will as the leader; Joel being his closet friend (sorta like a sidekick); Casey being an outisder and then the new guy; Brock being the angry one; Reicther as the crazy one; Brian as the one who is in love with fantasy (and has the slightly dumb one)
-First appearnce of the Recurring characters Rene David and Emily Lucas.
-Based on true events. The real life Emily did have a picture drawn of her the same way it is like in the episode.
-First appearnce of Lacey, Casey's wild ex-girlfriend.
-Originally, Rene and Will were going to be boyfriend and girlfriend and have their relationship be one of the main focuses of the show. This was changed when I decided not to have will tied down to a girl.
-It is revealed that Brock lives with two lesbian moms. This might hint were most of his anger comes from.
-Overall, I think I did a pretty decent job for a first episode but I wish I could have added more to the Joel character.

Episode 02 "A Tale of Two Brides: A Mormon's Tale"
-Originally titled "Gays Can't Do That"
-First appearnce of the repulican bigot Jordan Jones
-Based on true events. There is a real life Jordan Jones who does hate gays and democrats. To date, he has said nothing about the way he is in the series.
-My little brother suggested the title, feeling that no one would get the joke.
    -Brian appears only briefly.
-If this was ever on HBO (the channel I would love to get the series on) this and the 1st episode should probably be shown back-to-back.

Episode 03 "Screw Your Spirit"
-First episode to hint at the group's strong anti-socialism.
-Based on true events. When I was in High School, me and my friends did the same thing at pep rallys.
    -One of my favorite episodes.
-Joel doesn't appear in this episode. He's supposedly on vacaction.

Episode 04 "Hope for the Best, Expect the Worst"
    -Vincent Biga's writing debut.
-I thought this was a good episode considering it was the first I didn't write.
-Was originally just called "Hope for the Best"
-Features the most music in any Lunchroom episode.
-First appearnce of Brock's little brother, Bryce and Brian's mom, Debbie.
-This episode reveals that Brian is madly in love with Cathy.
-Vincent wrote this episode to build on the Brian character who was used very little in the first 3 episodes.
-Joel and Casey do not appear in this episode. Reicther appears briefly.

Episode 05 "All Your Friends Are Doing It"
-Originally titled "In The Sky With Diamonds"
-The school druggie, Kirk's first appearnce.
-The episode reveals that Will has a crush on the recurring character, Rene.
-Was suppose to end with the song "I Will" by The Beatles playing.
-I wrote this episode in a matter of a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.

Episode 06 "Testing Burns"
-It's revealed that Casey can't swim.
-Based on true events. Whenever me and Vincent were feedup with school, we would go in his backyard and lit up all old school stuff. We never burned his garage down though.
-First appearnce of Brock's real mom, Lois. Her voice is heard in the first episode.
-A very short episode but I still think it's one of the funniest.

Episode 07 "Politically Incorrect"
-Original Titles: "The KKK Come To Town"; "The Last Black Jew"; "A Tolerance Lesson from The KKK"; "The Adventures of a Black British Jew in Western Indiana."
-Was going to be a 2 parter but Part 2 was a little short. They were combined to make this.
-Considered to be the Best and Funniest episode of the Series.
    -My favorite episode.
-This episode hints that Rene might also like Will.
    -Chris Hughes's first appearnce.
-Originally Chris was only going to be in this one episode. But the real life Joel Mayberry loved the character and thought he would be a funny regular character.
-Features my favorite usage of music: Rene dreaming she is a Jazz singer, singing to Will.
-We see how Will and Rene met.
-I wrote this whole episode during Easter Sunday 2004.

Episode 08 "Join the Army"
    -Originally titled "Paragim"
    -Casey Wrenn's writing debut.
-Ironicly after showing Episode 7 (the series' best episode) we should this one (considered the worst)
-Chris has his first day of school.
-Based on true events. One day, when I was a Freshmen in High School, I was about to go to the bathroom when about 20 other students were leaving. This was odd since the bathroom had only 3 stalls, and 4 wall toilets.
-Casey Wrenn's original dialogue exchange between Casey and Lacey was extremely dramatic in which Casey begged for Lacie back and ended up crying. We removed this because A) It was WAYYY out of character and B) This isn't "Dawson's Creek."
-Originally, Will was going to make fun of the Army guy at the very beginning and then that was it. Casey had the Army guy abduct Will and thus, it become the main story of the episode.

Episode 09 "What Was That?"
    -One of my favorite episodes.
-The first episode to focus (and showcase) the Reicther character.
-Based on true events. The Tyler character is 100% real. The first time he ever met Vincent Biga he said "Wow. Did you eat Gilligan there, Skipper?" It's easy to say that he does not like the way he is protrayed in this episode.
-Based on true events. I did go to someone's house where we roamed his fields at night. We thought we heard a noise but it turned out to be one of our other friends.
-We had forgot that Casey and Chris weren't in the episode and at the last minute we added their scenes and the new ending with them in it.
-This episode hints that Joel is a little crazy when it comes to fighting and that Brock (who may speak big) is deeply afraid to fight.
-There was a brief subplot about Cathy finding Brian's love letter but it was cut.

Episode 10 "Bad Day"
    -One of my favorite episodes.
-Based on true events. I had a big problem when it came to asking girls out. I use to breath very deeply and on one occasion I almost passed out.
-Chris finally gets made an offical member of the group.
-Originally the Season was suppose to have 13 episodes (the next two were goign to be about Religion and the Season Finale was about a Girl's Party.)
-First hint of Reicther's Dad being a big gun man.
-Based on true events. The real life Casey Jennings had a blood ulcer when he was only 9 because of so much stress.
-This episode leaves many questions unsolved: Will Joel have to move? What was Rene's answer to Will's date question? What will Brian do, now that Cathy has responded? Will Casey see a shrink?
-A very quick episode that was also written very quick.

Interesting Facts and Comments:

Season 2

Episode 11 "Against the Madness"
-This episode, was the longest and hardest to write. It took me about 13 days to write this. It was hard to get back in the groove of writing the series.
-This episode introduces paraniod teacher, Mr. Parker who has become a Series Regular at the start of Season 3.
-Originally when Joel slashed the Senior's tires at the end, the Senior wasn't suppose to see who did it. But Vincent convinced me to change so he did see it.
-This episode is suppose to mark Chris's start as a Regular.

Episode 12 "The Risk"
-Unlike the previous episode, this episode was the quickest to write. Only taking me 2 hours to pound it out.
-Brian does not appear in this episode.

Episode 13 "I'm Up Here"
-This started off as a 2 parter. But after cutting a lot of part 2 out, we combined the parts to make into this episode.
-This is Stacy's first episode, and she makes her mark, as this is the probably the most popular episode of the Season.
-Originally this was going to be the Season 1 Finale, but we thought we best save this for Season 2. One of my favorite episodes.
-Originally Vincent's vision of Stacy was tall, blonde, tan, and big boobs. My vision was dark hair, glasses, very cute (sorta like Tina Fey). But in the end we did the smart thing by making her a red head, cute, and big boobs. (combination of the two.)
-Stacy's last name is Cifaretto. This comes from Ralph Cifaretto of "The Sopranos."

Episode 14 "Comics and Comedians"
-Alan Holman's first episode for us.
    -Originally titled "Comics"
-There was subplot in which Will gets attacked by a group of thugs on the streets of town one night. I deleted this because it felt out of place with the episodes content. I'll probably add it in the future.
-The character of Kirk (the druggie) was only going to be used that one time in Episode 5, but Alan loved that character so much that he put him in this episode. Since this episode, Kirk has appear several times.

Episode 15 "Cold Blue"
    -Originally titled "Asshole"
-Based on true events. I accidentlly brought a weapon to school once (to use in a English project) and I worried all day about getting caught.
-Stacy first appearnce since Episode 13. She appears for a brief second in the previous episode.

Episode 16 "Prozac Candy"
    -Originally titled "Sugar Rush"
-Based on true events. Yenom was a homecandy that my school would sell when they needed money for sporting events. It would be a clear piece of candy covered with flour and sugar (and it was good and addictive.)

Episode 17 "Suicidals Deserve to Die"
    -Originally titled "Crippling Mr. Tolbert"
-This is the combination of 3 unfinished scripts. Mine (part of a script called "Crippling Tolbert") Alan Holman (part of a script called "Eloquent Lady") and Tyler Schwartz (who came in and wrote the last few pages)
-Tolbert was originally going to be a recurring charcter who would pop every few episodes but I scrapped those plans at the last moment.
-Based on true events. I did have a friend (who made us change his name in the script at the last minute) who would constantly talk about suicide and be oblivious to people making fun of him.

Episode 18 "Never Mind the Bollocks"
-The title comes from the Sex Pistols album by the same name.
    -One of my favorite episodes.
-The first appearnce of Meadow Le Cerva. Her name comes from "The Sopranos." Meadow (Tony's daughter) Le Cerva (Adriana's last name.)
-Although Meadow is the object for Will's affection for the rest of the Season, she is never seen again. She is mentioned several times.
-The two Officers that interrogate Will and Chris at the end are names that come from "South Park." Officer Marsh comes from the last name of Stan Marsh and Officer Stone is named after co-creator Matt Stone.
-The Officer's boss is named Morrisey after singer John Morrisey.
-Casey does not appear in this episode. Joel appears very briefly at the beginning.
-Last episode before the Month long break.

Episode 19 "Kirk's Party"
-Writing debut of Melinda Waterman and Trisha Vansickle (two friends who mostly write songs.)
-This is the first episode that Kirk is the focus of since Episode 5.
-First appearnce of Stacy's friend, Marilyn.
-Alan Holman wrote this episode specifically as a showcase for the Kirk character.
-The original teaser of this episode was Prinical Stevens confronting a very high Kirk in his office. This was dropped for the Brian opening.

Episode 20 "Fast Car"
    -Edward Drogos's writing debut.
-Originally, another episode called "The Camping Trip" was suppose to be put here. At the last moment, we decided to go with this episode (which is much better.)
-The episode is suppose to serve as a pure "character development" episode.
-Originally Brock was suppose to be the one getting his license and driving the car. This was switch at the last moment to Stacy having the license.

Episode 21 "Fahrenheit  7/11"
    -Originally titled "This Isn't Good"
-This has to be the most bizzare episode ever. Even the title doesn't make sense.
-I picked Richard Belzer to be the ghost because he is one of my favorite TV actors.
-Dr. Bayliss is named after Det. Tim Bayliss from the show "Homicide."
-Most of the long speeches in this episode were written by Alan Holman.
    -The Rene Character's final appearnce.
-The original idea was to have the ghost of Frank Sinatra visit Will. This was put aside for the funnier idea of Belzer.

Episode 22 "Fooling Myself"
-This is what happened to Brian, Brock, Reicther, and Stacy on Saturday, April 24.
-The first time Cathy is mentioned since Episode 11.
-Originally, Brian was going to have a big emotional break down as he wrote the good-bye to Cathy. This was scrapped, as it seemed too corny.
-Reicther battles a flying pest in this episode. In the very first episode, when he is seen for the first time he is battling a fly.
-Originally, the kiss between Stacy and Marily was going to be shown. This was taken out because some thought it was bad taste.
    -Inspired by a Blues Song.
-Will, Joel, Chris, and Casey do not appear in this episode.

Episode 23 "Trouble in Mind"
-This is what happened to Will, Joel, Chris, and Casey on Saturday, April 24.
-Unlike the previous episode, Brian, Brock, Stacy, and Reicther make a brief appearnce at the end.
-Altough Will spends the whole episode trying to get to Meadow, she is never seen.
-Based on true events. When I was a freshmen in High School, I had the same problems during the Christmas dance. When I got there, I refused to go home and ended up having a pleasent evening with my date.
-Originally, Chris and Bonnie were suppose to end up with each other at the end of the episode. We changed this, feeling we couldn't add anything more to the Bonnie character in future episodes.

Thanks to Alan Holman who gave me this idea.

Well according to the writer, Vincent Biga the title is an inside joke about the episode itself. In the episode the Art Teacher Mr. Harrison accidentally writes "Cold" Blue on the board instead of "Code" Blue but just leaves Cold Blue. He also talks about it being Cold Blue instead of Code Blue mainly because he's kinda of an older teacher so his mind isn't all there.

Right. There's one other thing I don't get. In Ep.6 the guys were eating that candy and acting like heroin addicts. I noticed that Casey didn't have any of the candy, yet he was under the same influence.

No, he did not. All that sickness stuff prevented him from going to the Dance with her in "Trouble in Mnid" and after that she just kinda disappeared.

When Casey gets a bleeding ulcer, why did the doctor recommend a therapist? He wasn't crazy or anything.
