I usually write horror or comedy, and this concept could easily have gone either way. But the story I wanted to tell ended up being more of a faith-based drama with elements of horror and comedy.

I'm interested in any feedback, but am also very curious to hear your opinions about how to position this. Is Dramedy the right genre?

I would think about changing the title slightly.

From “the Devil’s Foof” to just “Devil’s Food”

I know it’s trivial but Devil’s food ahas two meanings - also means the cake. A little undercurrent of what’s happening.

Thanks JohnI,

I'll definitely consider dropping the "the". There is an old TV movie title Devil's Food, but that's not a big deal.
