Is it just me, or does it seem like the Conficker virus was named by Gabby Hayes?

I just ...email from "Big ticket screenplay Contest" ...

I checked MovieBytes - no rating.  Harvesting emails - not good.  I give this a big "Don't Enter"

P.S. - seriously, please do check MovieBytes before you enter any contest.  Any contest.  You should check before you enter the SimplyScripts Screenwriting Challenge (which costs nothing, but yet promises to return nothing).

Visit SimplyScripts.com for what is new on the site.

Ah, yeah, I've heard about that one. Supposed to be a complete scam.

There you have it, from the horses mouth so to speak (pardon the generic phrase)

The fate of "Big Ticket scam-- I mean, "screenplay contest" as been well and truly sealed...on this site anyway.

Thanks for clearing this up, guys (even though I had deleted the email after seeing the trend of the first few replies)

Can I rest safe in the knowledge that Mr Philip Clarke will keep us posted if he hears anything back from the academy in the meantime? He's a good guy...right?? One of the supposed good ones I hear

Cheers.

Col.

I heard back from the New York Film Academy, regarding any ties they may have to the competition organizers.  One was a student there for two years.  The others are unknown.
