Hi Writers,

Would you like to have a go at writing a short screenplay in the horror/thriller genre.

This is what we have access to:

11 year old girl
Adult Male or female
2-3 extras if needed but would prefer the above only
A farm with outbuildings, fields, woods, country lanes and a nice family house on the property
A very derelict room, 10x10 feet
A white old car - 90's
A prop handgun
A £100 budget to buy additional props.

Requirments

3-10 pages only, altough prefer 3-6 pages
No slasher, lot's of blood or gore!

We prefer supernatural, psychological scary.

We are looking for 2-3 scripts to shoot over the next 6 months.

The scripts we shoot will receive £100 and a writers credit of course. If we feel the script is worthy of a festival entry, we will submit it.

Some of the stuff we are working on at the moment.

Please send completed scripts, treatments or concepts to crash(@)crashtaylor.com or if you have any questions please let me know.

Original scripts to the above brief only.

Take care,
Crash

Hi Photocrash,

Would it be acceptable to email you a short treatment or concept for a script before I begin writing it?  I have an idea that I think would work with your resources but the script is not yet written.

Thanks,
Gage

I should have put that in my post. Yes, a short treatment or concept would be great.

Thanks Gage!

Photo,

This is your fourth thread in as many days calling for short scripts. I did Email you accordingly. You posted an address in your second thread. I didn't hear back which is fine, but I'm beginning to question your intensions. The writers on these boards would be happy to give your ideas a shot, but you're starting to sully your welcome. Aaargh....

I'm with James...

You keep putting threads out there and it's all pretty much for the same thing.

I, like James, also replied to you with no return from you, which is alright but maybe you should digging deeper into the scripts that are already here and availible.

Or, maybe there is someone here who wants to write one based on what you are looking for.

Good luck!

Shawn.....><

James and Shawn thanks for responding. I have received several scripts and have read a lot of the shorts on this great site. Unfortunately, none of them have sparked my interest as a filmmaker. I work 70 hours a week and also have a 3 year old. If I don't respond, I'm sorry. I wish I had the time to respond to everyone's emails.
That's why I posted the above so I don't waste anyone's time and they can write something for what we have access to. Obviously, the script has to make we want to film it and I love the story, visuals, characters etc...

I hope you understand.

I emailed a moderator and was told this was the best thread to post what I was looking for. So if anyone can delete the others that would great.

Take care and hopefully I will receive a few scripts that hit the spot.

For everyone else that has sent me a script, thank you and very much appreciated. But unfortunately, they are not what I'm looking for hence the above post.

Good on you PC and best of luck.

I just thought your script search was a bit unfocused to start, but I don't believe you're wasting anyone's time. I did receive your response to my email as well.

I don't think you'll need to entice writers here with payment. I'm fairly sure most would be happy to accommodate you to have something filmed well. If something comes across my mind with the settings and characters you have access to, you'll be hearing from me.

James

So, how does one send a script when there's no email address anywhere?

I have a script on SS that could utilize some of the things you mentioned.
The Bound Man.
It's on the Shorts page. If you're interested.
