This could be another evolution in amateurs getting access to Hollywood...

Think it's with your hard earned dough?

And, doesn't it sound a little bit like InkTip?

I think it's worth it...If I had a job, I would do it. lol.

I believe Inktip is for small companies. Nothing against them, just saying. Black list is tailored for big companies.

Very interesting.

It's nice to have another avenue for aspiring writers and I'm sure lots(if they have the money) will be taking it on.

Thanks for sharing, Brett.

Good to know - thanks E.D.!

Don't think I have anything for them or Inktip lately - unfortunately my eyes are wide open, finally wised up and decided I have no good feature so far, that's worthy of Inktip or else. It's an awful feeling really, I wish I was in oblivion all my life.

But still it's good to know what's going on out there, in the other half of the world)))

everyone and their grandmother is going to be uploading their script (reguardless of talent) with the "hope" someone picks it up out of the zillions of crappy scripts that will get uploaded.
who knows how long yours will sit before it gets noticed... if at all.

most will get lost in the cracks.
this is preying on the hope of the desperate. and desperate hope = $$$

i wouldnt bother.

play the megamillions its cheaper...and the odds are about the same.

I thought so too. But...

I guess The Black List's rep is supposed to be the difference maker?

I saw a few amateur uploads on there already.
I'll be curious to see how they fare over the next week or so.

I wonder how many interns will be tasked to look through them.

Regards,
E.D.

The comments beneath the article are very interesting and mostly sound true. I'm sorry if I'm too negative but agree with you, E.D. - these are gonna go through interns mostly and then if you have a script that good you'll find other venues. $25 a month is expensive. 50 for the notes - notes from who...
Won't be using.

Well, I don't have anything anyway, but if I did I wouldn't!
