First, an apology to those with much greater success.

Please forgive me but...

...with my first entry into one of these larger pay to enter competitions, I am pleased to say i took third place (i just hoped for a semi finalist place, or if really successful a finalist not a podium finish) in the Short Category of the GCISC.

A quick scan back of previous winners has shown to me that Phil, Pia and i think Cindy have won, or been placed, or in Phil's case won twice, so i put my result in perspective.

However, i am still new to this all (only joined SS august last year, first real script sept last year) so i trust you will allow me a small bragging right even for a third place. It means a lot, and to be honest, it's SS i wanted to share the news with.

The Inner Journey script has been taken down from this site as i amended it and and also have entered it into another "bigger" competition, so who knows.

What i can say, is that i improved the script on the back of SS feedback.

Thanks SS

I entered twice and won both times! In fact, I'm wearing their t-shirt today...was working in the yard. Shh, don't tell.

Nice job, Bill! No one who's read your stuff is surprised. Must feel good. Keep writing, and as the guy in the commercial says, stay thirsty(or hungry)!

Nice going, Bill!

Take that accolade with a healthy dose of vindication!
Always helps when toiling on spec in this business.

You have more chance of being drafted in the NBA than making it in this town.
So take your victories anyway you can get them!

Cheers,
E.D.

Hey, that's great, Bill.

You're always posting competitions on SS so it was about time you placed in one.
