Marketing geeks have a specialty, hence they rule the markets! Reliance big entertainment CEO told me once -- 'If content is the queen, then distribution is the King'. Go fgure it out!

Yeah I get it brother. I'm the Key Accounts and Senior Marketing Manager for a 100 million dollar a year family owned company.

I can tell you this. Ideas are simply the morter slipped in the cracks that create the building, brick by brick untill something beautiful is made.

A logline or idea is simply morter. You have to have the story (bricks) to sell the building.

Just please understand, I'm a slow reader and in the middle of a really good script right now (DEEP) by Leegion and will be on it for the next week.

You should read it. It's actually pretty damn good.

After that, if you have something you would like read, please let me know.

Take care man

Whatchu talkin bout willis?

So far, what I've read, I've liked.

Now to this guy here...

*********************

I just got my "EMAIL" from him letting me know all the inherent issues with my script.

Problem is, I sent my script over less than ten minutes agao and he all the sudden, gave me this "generic" outline of my work.

If I was interested, I could continue and be told how NOT TO have my script tossed away by industry exec's inside ten minutes.

Are you flucking kidding me????

Are we now subject to SPAM threads?

MOVE ON PAL!!!

Try this shite with anyone else here and I'll see to it, Don starts noticing.

To - jagan@spundana.org

You don't think I've seen people like you?

Asking open ended questions and baiting for answeres? all in the hopes of getting someone into a private email discussion to offer your "soultions".

First of all, what are your credentials? What have you written?

You mentioned in your email, which I'll galdly send anyone here, all of the issues my script has.

This was in less than ten minutes after sending you the link.

And then you let me know that you could tell me how to not have my script thrown away by industry exec's.

It has noting to do with me "taking it" or me "moving on".

It has to do with you coming here and doing exactly what people here don't want to happen.

There's enough bullshite to deal with in this industry.

The last thing someone needs here is a SPAM thread looking to offer an "easy" way to not have their script out by industry exec's.

I knew you were fishing when I first started reading your thread.

Do us all a favor...

If you have something to submit for us to read in the way of a script, then submit it.

If you want to read and comment on a script, then do so...

Otherwise, take a walk.

Those were terrible notes, in this thread and in the e-mail that Shawn sent me.

You fail to delve into any specific area of the script.

Your notes are very vague.

I've seen better reviews by courhaw! haha

That critique was silly. And yes, there IS a word in English called HAIRS. Tiny HAIRS line the inner ear. The HAIRS on the back of my neck stand up. But I guess we'll wait for time to tell Jagan this.

"I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called 'Max'."

A STAND AGAINST EVIL (short, 9 pg.)

Shawn, just let the comments go.  This is how Jagan critiques scripts; he did so on one of mine, a few years back, and spent most of his time talking about mini slugs.

Dictionary seems to think 'hairs' exists:  http://www.thefreedictionary.com/hair

...and here's Jagan's work

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3544958/

... credits, but no writing.

Of course Wikipedia's not going to have a separate article for the plural form of a word, you nitwit. It's not a dictionary, after all. That's the silliest comeback ever. But, just to humor you, I did a search for the word "hairs" in the article.

From the second paragraph of the Description subheading:

Other structures of the hair follicle include the oil producing sebaceous gland which lubricates the hair and the arrector pili muscles, which are responsible for causing hairs to stand up. In humans with little body hair, the effect results in goose bumps.

Anyway, never mind that, since you don't even consider my words worthy enough.

In order to be worthy, they must make sense and be intelligible. Yours are neither, aside from the part about how you can't handle critiques.

Good luck selling such scripts such as the one I just read from Shawn. Couldn't get past page 10. Sorry, that's just me!

O woe are we, Jagan, since you're not going to finish reading a script. You're damning us to selling scripts and making deals without your help. How will we ever survive?
