Just wondering how many of you guys made the quarters of the Nicholls. I got one positive read on my script, The Eulogy, but it did not make the quarters...

I received the exact same message -
"A little bit of good news: one of the two first round readers gave your script a positive score, though the score was not high enough to qualify for a third read."

I guess that is better than last year for me ....but still...we all want to hear different. I'm happy overall though. It's one tough competition!

I didn't make it either. I pretty much expected that though...because I didn't enter.

I just checked them out... so they give you 35k, which is probably only around 20K or so in my country, about £400 a week, to write a film during a semester year from what I can figure out. Sounds good to me. I'm in next year. Odds look pretty good at around 1200 to 1.

Didn't enter either.

In fact, I didn't enter into any contest this year.

I entered one comp this year and it was Nichols!
No really, I did - and that sounds so stupid - what was I thinking... There were 7,500+ entries and they selected 357. 5%.
(I set my eyes on this one and don't I deserve the best?)
