It just proves that the SS crew are the best crew in Hollywood who are not working in Hollywood right now ha-ha!

Imagine if we all got together and made a feature? It would be awesome!

Congratulations to all who have made it to the 250. I must admit I chickened out and didn't even try, thinking I didn't stand a chance. That's a stupid thing to do as it was a free opportunity, a lesson learned there.

Completely agree Mark, the talent on SS is fantastic, and more so given that in some small way (through feedback, notes, encouragement etc) were all partially responsible for each other's success!

I did get selected, thanks for the shout out, Pia!
My Amateur Friday winner, REAP WHAT YOU SOW, is in the running.
Now get back to work or you owe me a six-pack of Guinness! ;-P

Not surprised at all that so many Simply Scripters made the SS250 cut.
Ironically, it was about the same exact number of Scriptshadow regulars as well.
I hope to see you all in the final 25 this Decemeber!

Did anyone polish up there script and re-submit by last night?

Good Luck!

Does anyone know what happened to this comp? I know several GREAT writers that entered and I'm curious to know if anyone of them made it.

Still waiting on the final decision. Should be soon.
Carson does Tweet his thoughts as he goes though the entries.
Pretty interesting look into the mind of a Hollywood reader.

I checked on his site the other day and there's no news or anything to say exactly when announcement was due.

I think he was aiming at two months after he announced the 250, so should be imminent.

Carson hasn't quite finished but he has announced 10 that almost made the top 25!

Can't see any of 'ours' in there, so (and ever the optimist)...  I think we're all still

Still hope for me too. Nice of him to update with a group of almost-made-its. Something of a confidence booster for them in the very least.

250 scripts is a lot of scripts to read on your own which is why I'm quite happy to wait as long as it takes. At three scripts per day that would take around 83 days to complete. That's without a break.

I'm surprised he's finishing up so quickly. I was expecting April.
