Cool.

Should we maybe make it an unofficial OWC or 2WC...give people impetus to do it and always good to get feedback?

May get the thinking cap on for this. Not done TV before.

I assume, may be incorrectly, that feature film format is fine for TV.  Actually,I best check that out.

My scripts  HERE

The Elevator Belonging To Alice - Semi Final Bluecat, Runner Up Nashville
Inner Journey - Page Awards Finalist - Bluecat semi final
Grieving Spell - winner - London Film Awards.  Third - Honolulu
Ultimate Weapon - Fresh Voices - second place

Depends...

For 1-hour drama scripts it's quite similar. Mini-slugs are commonly used as long as you stay in same location/time, and you need act breaks (min. 4, max. 6) plus an optional teaser.

Half-hour comedy scripts have a totally different format. More like shooting scripts. Lots of free space, lots of CAPS. Got no experience with those. I'm not into comedy.

Does anyone know if there's a limited number of scripts you can submit here? I'm thinking about just throwing in all my pilot scripts.

TV format is different to feature film and the number of acts can vary.

Here’s some useful guides.

"Red Planet is committed to uncovering Britain's next generation of writing talent, and this year our prize is bigger and better than ever before..."

Can't seem to find any FAQs, but I'd guess that it's only open to UK writers?

I believe it only open to those in the UK  - there seems to be a seperate tab with a little extra info

It's not entirely pants Mark

Think this is the relevnt passage on the site...

Hopeful screenwriters must be based in the UK. They will have to submit the first ten pages of a 60’ TV screenplay along with a half-page description of how the series will work and a brief personal biog of no more than half a page. Shortlisted entrants will then be asked to submit a full script taking them into the final judging stages. Five finalists will be invited to an interview day, from which the ultimate winner will be chosen.

Northern Ireland will be fine, but not the South. I think so, anyway. Unless the whole of Ireland is no longer with us. I haven't kept up.
