I don't have any aspirations other than to write and tell my stories to as large an audience as possible. The medium doesn't matter so much. If I get the chance to do radio I would do that too.

Not for me, seems like they only want comedy spec scripts of existing shows.

The Nickelodeon program is looking for people who could work on their TV shows, that's why it's Spec scripts of existing shows... they are looking for people who can demonstrate they can write with the voice of the relevant TV shows... and the prize is 6 months of working with Nickelodeon in some sort of writing capacity...

As I said, if you are looking to break into TV then this would be ideal for you... but looks like it would be great experience for any writer.

I don't really watch TV shows, so that's me out. I figured it would just be a writing sample and then (if selected) once I knew the project they wanted me to work on, I would simply study the show and characters etc. I can't be bothered to do all of that on a maybe.

I would enter this if I was out of school, but I'll be starting college next year, and I think it would be a better choice to do college rather than this, if somehow I managed to win, though the chance of that is incredibly slim. This is an annual thing, it seems, so maybe in four years.

I would love feedback on any of these!
