No idea. What I do know is I did not subscribe to their emails so I sense this Spam may have come about through SS, then again maybe not, seeing as my email is not listed on my account. It is listed on the home page reviews however.

I even opted out, but those emails they keep a coming. On principle I delete them soon as I see them.

It's more likely to be other screenwriting comps. I have my suspicions that these comps are getting so big and varied now that they're selling our information on so that we can be target marketed by other comps.

I've had a couple of emails re this one, looks like they've bought mailing lists from a few different source... Not surprising given it's their first year in operation and they need to establish a customer base.

Prizes, structure etc aren't very well explained on their own website, e.g. Overall winner get's $1000 but it also says that there are 10 category winners but not if they win any $$$s. I assume the categories are by genre, but they also accept shorts but what, if anything, they win is also completely unclear.

In addition it says there is one on one time with a Producer for the winner but doesn't list who or the company that's supplying the prize.

I'd stay clear this year, see if it makes it to year two and irons out some of the very obvious issues.

I have gotten the email 3 times now - It doesn't seem to be a top tier competition to me.
