Hello to my writing friends down under.
Imagine Impact is focusing exclusively on Australia this go 'round. Bad for me. Good for you!
This is a great opportunity with money attached.
I highly recommend Australian writers give this a hard look!
Good luck and keep us posted if you apply!
https://www.imagine-impact.com/accelerator/australia The application is intense, but if you know your project inside and out, it won't be a problem.

You beat me to it! I got the email last night and came right here to post. Good luck, Warren, and to anyone else applying.
And, yes, the application can be a bit frustrating.

Check your email. Sent you a bunch of info from previous applications.
Good luck to you! You'd make an excellent choice for their program. Plus, I can live vicariously through you, so that helps me.

Thanks mate, all received. I'm excited to get the process started.
And thanks all for the encouragement.
Any other Aussies going to have a crack?

The cringe factor will be long forgotten when you make it over the line. It's all about the pitch and sell these days. Just do some prep and go for it, Ben!

Yeah, yeah, I know. P.S 15,000 dollars plus an additional 5,000 if you're more than 80km outside Melbourne (which I am) seems like an insane amount of money. Am I calculating that wrong? Because that's way more than I make in my normal job (a 9-5 that requires a bachelor's degree). I'd considering applying for the money alone (mostly joking).

This isn't easy. I can write a script, but answering questions about it is another thing all together. I don't think I'm a good enough writer to convey my thoughts in this way... It's doing my head in already.

Warren, you'll do fine, I'm sure, cause you know your script inside out. I agree it is a different kind of writing when doing these types of applications. Good luck!
