I could try to pitch something about the tenure process, but it'd be career-ending for my day job

Think I'll write a script about our OWCs here.

I’m thinking if A Game of Supers fits under this one. There’s a game in mine.., somewhere within the script.

Thanks, Kham. I thought so, too, but not quite.

First, the contest isn't the "crescendo" of the story. In fact, I'm trying to find ways to shorten how much screen time is spent there.

Second, and far more important, it's not about an "interesting lifestyle or subculture" as defined by politically-correct Hollywood.

My wife and I did pitch Princess for the family-friendly-adventure one.

I agree, you're practically giving the script away for exposure. I would only ever pitch something to this thing if it was (a) collecting dust in a drawer or (b) had hooks for a sequel.

It took me a whole day to submit to this. One full day dedicated to submitting a screenplay. They don't ask a synopsis, instead, it's the theme and yadda yadda.

On the other hand, it was good exercise, so I enjoyed it.
