Thanks, Anthony. Not sure I'll get much traction on mine, but I'm sure Dave and Rene will have some success.
Hahaha! This is the first year I'm seriously entering anything and I'm still waiting for my Blacklist eval. We'll see how well it does, but my expectations are pretty low.

WOuld be interested in hearing on what you think of your BL review
I entered a feature, a tv pilot and a short, so if I don't make it to the quarter-finals with any of those I'll be red-faced!
The feature was my f*ck-it script I wrote it during the first lockdown and was partially influenced by the lockdown. It's a thriller-comedy and those who have read it says it's completely bonkers, and it is but it's something I wanted to write. I don't expect this to progress in ANY competition but thought, what the hell.
The TV pilot I do have hopes for. I've spent 6 months writing it, but you never can tell in these things.
Best of luck to those who've entered and I hope the SS massive do us proud in the final stages.

Best of luck to you. Hopefully you'll slam all categories
I'm looking for the right place to drop my new feature comedy.
Gotta get it out there.

It's been a while since I read that one. That's a good one.

The quarterfinalists are out. My script "Bounty" snuck through into the quarterfinals. Anyone else get in?

Rejected. I am usually on the bottom on the forum here so it was expected. I want to see how many rejections I can get this year. Yay! Congrats though Gary, that's awesome.
I'm suddenly getting lots of love for a bonkers comedy/thriller feature I wrote during the first wave of the pandemic called True Colours. In the past two weeks it has won Euroscript (don't know if you guys have heard of that one but it's big in the UK and Europe), got through to the quarter finals of Nashville and now the Page quarter finals , so I'm happy with those apples!

Wow! Way to go Mark! That's very impressive! Good luck the rest of the way!
I'm pretty sure Dave went through as well!

Dave, I noticed Baggage got in. How different a version was this from the one I read when it was first posted? I remembered you saying you were going to retool it a bit and was wondering if you did.

Some tweaking - about 10% change I would say.
All your notes were incorporated by the way - so thanks!
Congrats, to our fellow Simply Scripts on the list! And for those that didn't advance, congrats on making it to quarters! For a contest like PAGE, that's still a damn good sign!
Yeah mine didn’t go through. Bit disappointing when you see some of the ridiculous titles of some that did lol. Anyway I’ll keep working on my new horror one
Btw, my husband had a customer last week who buys "lost" packages from UPS. He said it's hit and miss, but sometimes something great comes through. Anyway, it made me think of your script. I had no idea this kind of stuff was going on.

Bravo. Congrats, Dave. That's pretty damn consistent performance. But I just had a funny feeling about your script as I read it. Call it women's intuition or whathaveyou’s. Speaking for both of us -- all the best going forward.-A
WOOHOO! Dave! Yea, that's what I'm talkin' about. I just freakin' knew It when I reviewed it. Fantastic!
Congrats Dave! When do managers and literary agents start hitting you up? I'm guessing in t-minus 10,9,8....
