Just got my letter!!!! My feature WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR is a quarter-finalist. 5,526 entries. 359 advanced. I made the cut.

I'm just so pumped, and wanted to celebrate with people who understand how cool this is!!!

Thanks to all who gave notes on the script. Every one of you made it better.

Well done, PK!
You must be over the moon.

Care to share the Logline, genre?
Edit: Ooh, it's still on SS.

Fingers and toes crossed for you going through to the next round.

Well done!

I remember how I felt when one of my scripts made it to the finals of a small film festival competition...

You must be thrilled to advance to the quarter finals of Nicholl!

I'm pulling for you!

Thanks, everybody!

The next cut is down to 140 or so. So, that's a big one. Gives me a couple of weeks to dream of scenarios until the axeman cometh.

And, yes, the script is still up on SimplyScripts. I think the reason it advanced is because it's unique. There's no way there's another script like it in the pile. That's what I keep telling myself anyway!

Did anybody else on here advance? I haven't seen a full list.

BIG congratulations!!! I knew someone who won one year. She was one of the originals when MP first started. It was a HUGE deal to win, or I guess become a fellow.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Oh my goodness. I can't even imagine a win.

Very cool. Congratulations. Nice to have validation, especially for us insecure and pathetic writers.

Thanks. And, yes, now the insecurity rises again, as I find out I didn't make semis. This screenwriting thing is such a roller coaster.
