The Texas Waitress Massacre by David Kaneen - Horror - Based on the true story of one of the first serial killers in the U.S., good old boy Joe Ball owns a roadhouse, noted for its attractive waitresses, called the Sociable Inn in Elmendorf, a small trailer town just seventeen miles south of San Antonio. 97 pages - pdf, format
Damn, whats with them texans? Always killing and maiming. Few things I noticed: How do we know we're seventeen miles south of San Antonio in the beginning? What are alligators doing in the desert of texas? (Reading further they're pretty important, but they arent native to that area, might want to make it clear they were imported) I would take out the musical cues. some of myrtles dialogue on p65 seems a little over the top. 73 Andre jacksons should be Andrew
Overall good stuff, read real smooth and entertaining. Seems like you kind of give away the story pretty quickly when we see joe kill someone, but I guess it works that way. Nice Job with it, definately a better script than most horror movies that are being made.
Mine: HARD CASE (65 Pages) Stealing the case is just the beginning...
APU (80 pages) A city where superheroes are murderers and villains walk through walls...
Good dialogue Joe had me chuckling sometimes and he seems very suave talking his way out of certain situations.
on page 51 INT. Stairwell - "Emma listens from the stair well", then on page 52 INT. Stairwell - "Emma listens intently." We cannot see this on screen. you could have her putting her ear against the door to show that she's listening intently.
