Goose,
Yeah He played Miles.  He's speaks in French with a strong American accent...It's pretty funny. I think the original is much better than the remake, by the way...

Hi everyone,
Obviously,  my name is Andy. I'm female and 25 and my favourite movie of all time is The Goonies. needless to say this inspired me to write my very own concept for a potential sequel, and I had a few dreams come true when I met 4 of the cast over the last year and got to give them a copy of my script (which was in its early draft!).

If you want to have an insight into 'Andy' you can download my video of when I met them at my website, in the video section.

http://www.redmorris.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/gooniesneversaydie/video.html

Looking forward to posting here more regularly. I love BTTF series, basically anything with Michael J.Fox in it and am a huge fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Am starting to think up some new script storylines, original ones now. Maybe I'll be able to improve my writing after reading all the helpful hints and stuff on this site. Great job BTW.

Have fun!

Hi all

Uhmm let's see. I hate my first name, hence most people online just know me as Roon (my surname is Rooney). Don't you just love the internet?

I'm an "aspiring" writer, though I'm sure I'm about ten years behind. I'm 25, another girl, I develop online content for an education company in South Africa, but am hoping to complete my Bachelor of Arts in writing in some point. I'm really green when it comes to scriptwriting. I've completed 3 scripts for existing TV shows and one original. All are in dire need of editing, since I still haven't got the hang of getting out of "prose" mode.

I don't claim to have very good taste in film or television, but I love all mutant enemy shows (Angel, Buffy, Firefly - was going to love Wonderfalls and Still Life but Fox decided not to let me). I play around with writing Angel scripts, since that is my favourite show, right up there with Farscape. Favourite movies are Deep Impact, 5th Element, Galaxy Quest, Willow, Donnie Darko - basically anything that makes me feel like real life ain't that bad. Favourite actors are Jensen Ackles, Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson and a slew of others. As for music, I try almost everything except sakkie sakkie, polka and opera.

I hope I will learn a lot here. It looks like a darn good place to do just that. Brilliant place!

Thanks

Baltis is my name

25

6ft 2in

210 lbs

I enjoy a manor of different things as long as it doesn't include being up above 15 feet.

I like working out. I am trying to get my own GYM opened up now here in KANSAS CITY "best city in the world"

I'm a carpenter by trade, went thru the app program right out of highschool. spent 4 years of my life traveling the united states constructing TARGET stores and other such department stores. I've been litterally everywhere here in the U.S. and that is why I saw there is no place like home. K.C. is where it's at.

I began writting screenplays about 3 years ago. Off and on with a friend. We set out to make a blisterless hand and bendable back life out of it, however he has went on to other things "Not including screen writting" I have stuck with it.

I have sold 2 screenplays for a modest sum of 5000 a pop
placed 3rd in a scripting contest for DC comics
I have an agent and plan to quiet carpenter work within the next few months to focus on my GYM and screen writting paths.

I have a wonderful wife, her son and the love of my life -- my cat BALTIS, whom I love very much and cannot live without. He is the reason I got thru my last 7 year relationship break up.

My favorite movie is -- anything and everything LUCIO FULCI has ever done. He's the man and will forever be missed.

My favorite director is -- LUCIO FULCI, not cause his keen detail to graphic violence in horror, but cause he was such a talented and multi diverse director. He laid so so so many blueprints for other directors like WES CRAVEN and PETER JACKSON and yet he is still overlooked. FULCI mastered everything he did -- WESTERNS, DRAMAS, COMEDY, SOAP OPERA's even... and we all know HORROR is his game.

my favorite food -- Anything with over 30 grams of protein and 100 grams of carbs.

My car -- WAS a 2002 eclipse... I was in a severe wreck a few weeks back and well... it's no longer with me

My car -- NOW a 2003 OLD's ALLERO ... not near as comfortable or smooth as my baby was.   "cost more too"

I live in a 3 bedroom home with a landlord who likes to mow the yard every 2 days it seems. I'm also not supposed to have pets, so it's a bit tricky when he gets in the window all the time

I like going to plays, reading alot, watching fox news, watching horror movies, sleeping in when I can, drawing a little from time to time...

that's about it for me... not the most exciting person I guess, but I'm content.

Oh yeah almost forgot...

I don't like RAP, POP, R&B, SOUL, JIVE, or any of that rap metal crap either...

I like ROCK and that's about it.

U2 -- MATTHEW GOODBAND "2nd best band in the world" -- MATTHEW GOOD -- RADIOHEAD -- FLICKERSTICK -- anything 80's -- NED's ATOMIC DUSTBIN -- ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN -- BLINK 182 "not bad" -- FLESH FOR LULU -- and many others.

I like playing guitar also "or rather trying to" but haven't had much time to touch one. I do still get time to pick up and play though every now and again.  I'm not fantastic or great, but... I can hit a few notes and play a pretty good song book.

-------------

I've also found a new love for roller coaster's "even though I hate heights"

I don't drink, don't smoke, never done a drug and stand by my honesty in this.

That is about it...

Hello everybody, I'm Andrea, age 21.  I live in North Carolina.  I attend UNC Wilmington, a great university that's a whole lot of fun.  I listen to Rock music, and love movies of any kind, except for the bad ones.  I drive a Toyota Camry.  I'm really into philosophy and logic.

(And Rob, congratulations on your engagement.  You and Crystal make such a good couple.  I'm so happy for you both.)

Well, might as well put in my two-sense...dontcha love the spelling.  I'm a novelist, screenwriter, tired of being an executive chef, martial arts instructor and part time TM teacher.  Writing has been my passion since I was 11 when I got a D on my report card, knew I was going to get my butt skinned and decided to write my mother a, (boo-hoo, pity me letter) The letter was 3 pages. When she came home, read the report card, then read my sweet letter to her, she ask what magazine I had copied the letter from.  I was stunned and before I could explain, she cut my rump cause she thought I was lying....true story...since then, it's been a pleasure to write, especially since I had to get my butt cut for inspiration.

Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada, is where I live.  Our mayor Don Atchison was voted Canada's Craziest Mayor in a national poll, for good cause too, because I HATE HIM!!!  The bastard turned the other cheek when City Workers stole a bunch of stuff from our yard.  For more information, read many of the entries in my journal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/radiomovie/

What else can I say about Saskatoon?  Hmm... It's a beautiful green forest at this time of year.  The city is woven beautifully among the trees, and the river cuts it into two sides: the rich east-side, and the middle-class and poor west side.  I live in the west side.  Not the part of the west side that's the wrong side of the tracks, but still deep enough into the west side to wish I lived on the east side.  When my pal Josh moved to the east side, he immediately noticed that they get way more free samples of stuff in the mail (obviously because they're rich enough to buy more stuff).  He even gets free razors -- much of the west-side population SHOULD NOT get free razors, and luckily they do not.  I could use a new razor, though, for shaving.  I'm becoming more and more of a vagrant with each and every passing day; it's horrible.  This morning I was called by a collection agent who wants $508 bucks for a credit card that the bank was stupid to give me about two years ago.  I have -$508 to my name.  I've been looking for a job for a while.  I got offerred a job selling mortgages, but I didn't take it because I already worked in a "circle of callcenter hell."

My friend Stephanie said she can't believe I turned down a job.  I simply can't do anything un-creative since my muse inspired me to write Banana Chan.  Call it attention deficit, or whatever, but I know that if I'm focused all the time on only the things that matter to me, I'm happier than I'd be if I were focused on stuff that doesn't matter to me more of the time.

I'll quit before this post becomes a novel.

Heeeeeeeeelooooo, I am jini.
O.k., jini is my nickname....you can call me sya, sylvie, sylvia or "little pain in the neck".....
I am 35 years old and a beginner in movie-script-writing. A few month ago I finished my first screenplay "THE SEALED SCRIPT", I sent it to the screenwriting awards in Hollywood - but there was one problem: I sent it in German and in a not so good translated version in english.... (think, think.....) Hm, perhaps when I get enough training here, perhaps, sometimes, I can translate my moviescripts in perfect english...LOL!
Well, o.k., great that I can be here with you all guys, to learn more about screenwriting.

sweet greets
jini
