Hi everyone. I'm Dustin from Las Vegas. I'm going to major in film and I want to direct and write my own movies. Everyone who comes up to always say, "You live in Vegas! So do you live next to Wayne Newton". Or even worse, "So, do you live in the hotels here?" I hate that. But back on to me. I love watching movies that inspire me. For example, The Godfather I & II, Goodfellas, The Star Wars Saga, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, all of Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kuprick, Francis Ford Coppola, Zucker Brothers, and most of all Steven Spielberg films. Which always has been an inspiration to me. I like to write, film, sleep and have new ideas for movies. I just posted a script called "Almost Home" under the unproduced short banner. Hopefully everyone will take a look at it. What I've worked on is this film and a small gangster film called "Sin City Boys". I hated that one because it's just a homage to almost all of my favorite movies. But it was cool how I filmed it in Black and White.I'm a senior in high school and finally have two months left to go on to college. Thanks.

Dustin

Welcome to the boards, you should find it to be a useful and friendly place.

Though I have to ask... do you live next to Wayne Newton?

Hah, no I don't live next to Wayne Newton. I wish. But thanks for asking me. And thanks for welcoming me too. I hope that when I finish my few other projects that I'll post them and get reviews on them. Thanks.

That's a nice ecclectic list there Dustin.  Welcome to the board.  I'm new as well.
