I'm now involved in a project called Make This Movie (http://makethismovie.com) as a writer.  The project is a reality show where a group of people will solicit funding and make a movie.  The movie-making part will be part of a reality show.

Right now, we're working on a five minute 'trailer' of the reality show to show around to the production companies and networks.

I was wondering when a reality show like this would come around. Been waiting for it for a little bit. I had thought of something like this awhile back, but of course, the funding for such a thing is beyond my own skills...

Too bad you can't.  All the writers who showed up to the first meeting didn't show for the second (except for me).  I think we're still looking for one or two writers.

Hey, if you could work long distance, I'd be game for it. But I presume personal presence is a mandatory thing.

Presence is mandatory, unfortunately....

We briefly discussed a plot.  It was decided to use an idea I've had for the longest time about three friends wondering whether they should continue pursuing their dreams after ten years of trying.

It's based on a comic strip that a friend and I tried getting syndicated years and years ago.

I'm surprised that no one has asked me to take it down because they find it offensive.
