Alright, this is just to keep people up to date with how this is going. It looks like I may have to move to a winter shoot. That's the only bit of bad news. The good news is that this is entirely cast and the rewrite is done.

I'm going to keep this thread updated daily while I go into production of the film.

I'm probably going to be shooting this with a Sony hi 8, with a wide angle lens, 16:9 aspect ration, and a mic, which is pretty much quasi-proffesional grade (so it sounds alright).

I had to change Dave from 19 to 17, simply because of the actour, and Lisa leaves to pick up here kid brother rather then her son. Aside from that most things are the same as the script.

Casted and I have a place to shoot. We're probably going to rehearse from September to October, maybe longer. Then during winter break, we're going to film, and probably have it edited and done in January.

You can see the camera in some of my pics on my myspace account.

And yeah, if it's not already appearent I love obscure, dutch, and extreme angles. Plus quick paced editing and ambient music.

Oh and another note, the pic I have on my avatar and the new ones up at myspace were shot with the camera, so that's kind of the quality of the film.

I can't imagine what it'd be like to have a script that you wrote filmed. What a great compliment!

Chris, best of luck to you on this project!

Andy, glad I made you ->

You should invest in Photoshop ... that program could make killer posters.

Yeah, I know. I've used it before, and for the actually poster, I probably will.

This is just a quick thing I did for fun.
