Wow.  Just wow.

I really, really, really, really liked this one.  The dialogue was almost pitch-perfect.  I really dug the philosophical approach as well as the characters themselves.  Truth be told, I may just keep this one saved on my computer.  Should I manage to get some actors together, this one could be really cool to make.

I sort of imagine it being more about the two talking then one straight-up flashback scene.  I would have the majority of the flashback scenes focused on Eugene as he speaks of the murders.  These bits of dialogue would be filmed using a tripod for a still camera effect.  Also, the bits between Eugene and Robert would have sort of a blue hue going for it, a stoic color to keep with the wide frame shots.

Meanwhile, I would have the flashbacks have a reddish-brown color scheme, with a shaky, constantly moving camera.  They would be bloody as hell, but only in short, quick doses.  Lots of close-ups and in-your-face cinematography.

Damn, I really want to make this now.  If I can get it together, I'll defiantly keep you updated on this board.
