Some find it rather amusing. I had a pic on the last one, but haven't felt like putting up any more. I dunno. Just not me, I guess.

I guess we can find out just how dreadfully young most of our members are...

Being young isn't bad...is it? I don't think so. We don't have to pay bills, pay for food, pay for anything. And, unless something happens, we don't die as soon as older people...

The other one got bloated to 17 pages. Andrew starts another one when the old gets too long to actually muddle through.

I never appreciated my younger years until I got past them and on my own. What I wouldn't give to have the almost total financial freedom of youth to do whatever I wanted after the short school days are over. Get out and 2:30 or 3 during the week and have no other obligations beyond the occasionaly extra-curricular activity. Looking ahead to a life that at the time has no restrictions. Man, my early life was a utopia compared to what happens once you leave the home.

God! JesusFreak! You look like my mates kid who is 8 years old.. Jeez......... Can't believe it.....

I knew some of your guys were young on these boards, seeing your photo came as a real shock,  sorry..

Still can't get over it, Jeez....

Don't get me wrong, got nothing against younger kids an' all just when confronted with the reality of who we communicate with sometimes does tend to shock a tad..

I don't mean anything by it.. I must be gettin' old... I am gettin' old... Help... Breanne... Help me outta here... I got myself in a hole... Got no shovel... Wait till you guys get old.. Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllp.......................

The above happens when you hit 46..

Hey, why you draggin’ me into this, Grandpa? -- hahaha. I’m young enough to be your….uh….um….someone a little younger than you. That’s how young.

I would get a shovel and help dig you out of that hole but my back is getting creaky.

I'm not rushing anything. I have no problem being young and other than the fact that it's not as hard to get work picked up by someone, I don't want to get older any faster, I just don't want to look this ugly when I do get older.

I don’t think you’re ugly. Maybe a little intimidating with that expression. You look like someone walked in on you in the middle of hiding a body. -- haha

“You caught me hiding the murder weapon. Now you must die as well. Must…do…what…the voices…say.”

You’ve got to admit that your expression is a little scary.

JesusFreak, if you ever watched the American version of "The Office," you have a more then passing resemblance to the intern on the show.  I believe his name his B.J. Novak.  It must be a common look though, as my friend Gary has it as well.  Here's a pic:

You have to find a site and upload your photo to it.  What ever the URL of the picture is (i.e: http://www.xanga.com/mypage/photo.jpg) you copy into the section of your post where it say's [img] [/img]

Where I put "Image Link" is where you put the link to the image. You'll have to upload a photo to an image host or something.

Well, you have to upload it to a host that allows you to link to the pictures from an outside source. Angelfire (I know for a fact) will not allow you to do this. It also helps to call up the photo and just cut and paste the link.

So I was walking past the ocean one day and all of a sudden this goldfish tackled me. Luckily it has only a 3 second memory span and forgot what it was doing and where it was, which gave me a chance to run away. So I decided to write a script about it and direct it. I already created the DVD cover art:

Sean

P.S. If you aren't able to read it, the top line says "Coming to a theater near you..."

These pictures are all kinda old, I have an idea for a new one but I just need the right person to snap it.

Hanging out in my dorm before a night out on Halloween... trust me, martinis and velvet are not part of my standard.

Nerding out at the Sundance shoot in January...

I dunno who she was but she really wanted to take a picture with me.

Beginnings - It's high school all over again. Seriously. (now fixed and cleaned!)

Here is a picture I took for fun...added a little lighting effect, and this is what I got:

You've probably seen it somewhere, but I don't have a clue of the location...

By the way, Higgs, you look like a crazy maniac in your hobo pic, and in the picture with you surrounded by the ladies, it looks like you're looking up at God and thinkin': "Thank you!"

I'd forgotten about this thread -- these are kind of fun.

Here is a Halloween pic of Ross and I -- a couple of years old -- Harry Potter and Freddy Kruger.  Some stupid kid thought I was Waldo.  He didn't get any candy.

You can't really see the knives in my glove, but they were real haha.

Here is another picture I took, that reveals my true identity!:

Unfortunately, they spelled my name wrong

And also, just to let people know how innocent I [b]used[b] to be, here is when I was about 1-2 years old (A transition photo, the baby picture on the right (duh)):

How innocent did I look? Very innocent, but deep down inside was a boy named Stewie Griffin.

Bert, love the pic, so very cute. Great new pics everyone!

I can't wait to expose MacDuff/Stew and TheboyWhoCouldFly/J-Roc... on seconds thought, I'll respect their wishes and keep their identities a mystery.

It's so weird whenever Simply Scripters post their pictures up, because they look totally different than you think they look like.

But I have to agree with you, Andy, Jordan is a WUSS!

Haha. Part of me suspects that this was more than just a comment on where the picture is.

As for my addition, I'll just post my triplet video link. What's better than static pictures? Moving ones! I got thirty a second right here.

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2758796

I will give a static one, though. Here's a capture I did of me pointing the remote at the camera right before it cut off.

Remember everything good in Canada, you guys steal. Hockey, Jason Bay, Jim Carrey, James Cameron and so on and so on. I'm pretty sure we created porn too because Canadian women are hot.

I use Image Shack Robert. It's simple.

Don't think I've contributed to this so here's me. I'm the guy sitting down almost perfectly center in the picture... and looking quite surprised someone's taking a photo of me. (It's a phone photo so quality's not so good.)

Excellent photos, everyone.

I wouldn't want to get into a fight with Steve cause he's got that look like he'll rip me in half.

Sean is keepin' it real.

As is Parkster with a more nervous look.

Robert plays with Barbies

Ayham...I got no witty comment for that.  It's a good picture.

It's very strange when you finally put a face on the name, and I still have to scroll through this thread to see how everyone else look like...

Sean: I'm dying to know what's in that picture in the back ground...are these Dolphins...or naked..dolphins?

Greg, cool picture, the Suns used to be my favorite team as well, now I'm back to the Lakers. and I cracked up at the face you make to scripts you don't like... Jared ROCKS!! my hero at Subway is Nevin and I just lost a bet with him when the Colts won, so he won't be seeing me for a while...

Helio: All his ladies look nice and cool, he does too

Andy: looks cute and talks cute and walks cute... not sure how she sleeps though, I'm sure cute as well  haha

Sryknows: He actually reminds me of a very good friend of mine. cool picture.

Parkster: He looks as if someone just told him to FREEZE!!! haha cool picture...

I saw a picture of Chris (the one in the middle)... isn't that the actor from that..hmm..80's show...forgot the name!! but good to see you Chris

who else, yeah, someone else reminded me of "Waldo"..forgot who that was!

Wow.  There are some damn fine lookin' people on this board, aren't there?

As usual, when this thread floats back to the top, nobody looks like I expected.

What's funny to me is that Ayham looks an awful lot like his avatar.  Nice pics.

Sry -- hell -- I wasn't even in the same ballpark.  Puts a different spin on your scripts, though, you know?

She is too good for you, Spence.  Buy her some flowers or something.

I hope those are Parkster's friends, cause it looks to me like they are about to beat the crap outta' him.  Even the girl haha.

And Helio.  You old charmer.  Nice one, my friend.

The rest of you I've seen before.  But always a pleasure.

Wow.  There are some damn fine lookin' people on this board, aren't there?

As usual, when this thread floats back to the top, nobody looks like I expected.

What's funny to me is that Ayham looks an awful lot like his avatar.  Nice pics.

Hey Parkster,
I see from your myspace that you live in Blyth.  Thats not a million miles from me.  I live in a place called Redcar, a few miles from Middlesbrough.  Redcar was made semi famous in the summer when a few Dunkirk landing scenes for a movie called 'Atonement' were shot on the beach.

Pretty cool. Just looked up Redcar on Google Earth. Apparently Blyth has almost 1000 more in its population. Oh, and kudos on the name Redcar.

You don't support Middlesbrough (footy) do you? Not that it matters much, I support Liverpool!

What I find interesting is that the only person on this entire thread that actually looks like a writer is Helio.  It might be his age or maybe it's those glasses.

You are right! And actually, Helio, you also look like what I envision directors and producers to look like! I think its because you look very confident/intelligent and yet, GQish too. Hmm...interesting. Did you use photoshop to make that icon, btw? I love the blue/green effects you got going there.

There are 2 things I noticed from your last pic.  First, you drink Arrowhead water?  Why?  That stuff is crap!

Second, that bird kicks ass.  What's its name/age??  I have a few birds myself hahaha

That picture was taken around a year and a half ago, I drink Arrowhead water because...well, this was at my folks place, but as long as it aint tap water, I'll drink it, lol.

As for the cocktail?  Mikey was the name.  Mikey was around 7 or 9 years old.  Up until two years ago, I assumed Mikey was a he, hence the name, lol, but then my younger brother tells me she lays an egg.  Then I'm just thinking how glad I am that birds don't respond to names like dogs.

But she was a very smart bird.  She could use her beak to push her food containers out of her cage, as she roamed the house on her own.  I ALWAYS had to clean up after her messes, and I don't even live there anymore!!

She was cute too, we always loved playing with her, I remember before I went to college, I'd sleep with the bird on my chest under the sheets, haha, she always peaked the hell out of me.   >

Now my dad gave her away to his friend because he had a male cocktail for Mikey to mate with.

Thanks again bud, she was an awesome bird indeed.

Thanks, but I'm actually 65% Iranian, 25% Turkish, and 10% German.  Generally most middle easterns look Greek, but actually I have been told that a few times.

And thanks again Andy.

Thanks a lot Andy, honestly, I don't even know how that got in there, lol, but it was probably from my dad's side.  I'll check into that next time I visit home.

Well, thought I'd resurrect a months-old thread.

And considering I just registered at Photobucket I thought this'd be as good a place as any to post a pic. So here's me in case you're curious what I look like.

Never even knew this thread existed.  Guess I should get around here more and not spend so much time just reading unproduced scripts.

Anyway, here's one of me.  I'm not a picture guy; don't like having my picture taken, and am quite adept at avoiding cameras.  This ability is uncanny, and borders on precognition.  But, somehow or other the pro photographer at my sister's wedding last July caught me unawares.  I think I had just finished playing a stirring acoustic rendition of Motley Crue's "Piece of Your Action."

And, here's one of the love of my life...my 6 year old daughter, Kevyn:

That is the only picture of me I have on this computer...I hate it. It's blurry. And worst of all, it has my face in it. ahhh.

It's fun to see what evryone looks like. Helps put a face with a name.

I think Mike looks great!

Gained a little weight since 18 months or so ago, but it makes him look better....quite tall if memory serves as well.  Could probably do some modeling with a pro crew.

Don't make me pull your pic off the Gimme Credit website.  Oops...how did that get in my photobucket album?

And, thanks Pia.  I've gained a little weight in the past few months, but nothing major, only about 5 lbs or so.

And yes, I do agree that I could do some modeling.  I'd just need really good lighting, heavy makeup, and another handsomer guy to stand in for me.

You know, many people ask me this question, and it's a fair question, "Kamran, you're 28 going on 29 as of November 11th, you're downright sexy, nice, funny and yet you're single, why is that?"  Well ladies and gentlemen, the answer is simple, I'm already taken, by the only love I'll ever need in life, a 2005 WRX STI.

Haha I looked back at all these pictures and I still think that everyone looks differently than from what I imagined they looked like.

I took this one earlier this morning.

I did not put any effects into this picture. Since my camera is possessed, it usually takes a second picture immediately after I take the first one (or even scarier, it takes a picture even when I DON'T PUSH the button! ). Since the second picture was taken as I was moving the camera away so I could look at the picture, it created a blur effect on everything but my face. (And no, that isn't my natural hair color. That's just the reflection from the bathroom lights).

I had to adjust suspension because it kept scraping off the driveways whenever I'd back up.  But they're actually pretty popular around here in the U.S.  I see a lot of them around.  Mostly the silver STI's.  Thankfully not too many of the 06 STI's because their new body style is the biggest eye sore in the entire Subaru Industry.

Anyway, this is another one I like to call, "Sex on the Beach" unfortunately that has YET to be the actual situation....

Ooooh man, I'll....I'll keep that in mind.

Man I just keep finding more and more pictures, God bless photobucket.  Anywho, I dedicated this picture to Casino Royale, I was playing with some family, and lost 50 bucks.  Usually I lose double that when I play with friends.  Moral of the story, I hate playing anything with family and friends, which is why at the casinos I'm so cut throat.

Hey Cindy,

You need an account with someone like Photobucket to use the image tags.

You upload the picture to them, and get a link for posting to boards.

I gotta say, I can't help but wondering what you all look like.  There's so many new faces around here and when I'm having a discussion with someone, I think it'd be interesting to know who I'm talking to (more than just their avatar).

I mean, if I went on avatars alone, whenever I argue with Dreamscale ( ),  I think about talking to a giant block that says "Fade to White".

Now, we could all hide behind the anonymity of the internet and our avatars, but I say we re-start this thread.

Alternative Rock/Pop, I'd say... U2ish with some Cure, James and Morning Runner thrown into the mix. We're working on an instrumental EP called the Aquatic Astronaut right now... Just me & my buddy/bandmate Chris. Mainly Guitar, Keyboard and loops. We're animating very crude animations to go with each song using ToonBoom... This is what I mainly do in my spare time as I no longer have the time to fully dedicate to writing 100% since being married and having a baby on the way takes up lots of "TIME" & even more "MONEY".

Then again, writing is a pretty cheap art... Way cheaper than music anyways.

Send me an E-mail and I can send ya some stuff to listen to.

So how do I include a pic inside a post?

I'll also try and mmake my avatar a pic, but they never seem to work, as they always are too big, and I don't know how to reduce their size.  Obviously, I'm not Mr. Computer Techie.

[img ]web address of picture[/img]

without the extra space I stuck in the first "img" box.

To host the pictures, try Photobucket.  If I can figure that site out, then I suppose it must be pretty easy.

Hmmm, I know this is going to sound really stupid, but...where do i find the "web address of picture"?

How's this new avatar?  Does it help, Dressel and Andrew?  Is this what Phil looks like?

Jeff,

Do you have a Facebook, Myspace or any kind of social networking/picture hosting site? If so, use that link and drop it into the coding bert provided.

I did note an aesthetically pleasing addition to the community, so - this unnamed - she is welcome to provide a picture.

Sorry, that will be my one and only lewd-ish comment

You upload the pix to Photobucket, and a web address is assigned. It will be http://whatever -- mostly numbers and stuff.

It's one of those things that becomes clear as you actually work through the process.  Just do it.

There are no pictures of Phil because you would be blinded should you be faced with all his shining glory.

No, I do not use any of that stuff.  I do have many pictures on my computer though.  Whenever I try to use one as my avatar, it won't allow it though...always says it's too big or something.

My avatar is now one of the infamous stills of the "puppetfish" from the classic "Up From the Depths"...one of teh most unpuirposely hilarious flicks of all time, which I had the pleasure of seeing in teh theater, oh so many years ago.

I'm obvioulsy not very computer literate when it comes to this kind of thing.

Photobucket lets you re-size pics as well.

I don't think I need to post a pic either since I think everyone already knows what I look like...

Cool, thanks, Mike.

I'm the one on the right.  You can't see it in this pic, but the "hair" is quite long, and goes into a point. It's hanging down, behind me here.  It can alos be worn standing staight up.

It's a NOGINZ original, and called "The Volcano".

Jeff, aren't you all three of those guys?     where's the smoking jacket?

Actually i had this idea whereby all the SS crew send in a small pic and someone with savvy and decent software  arranges it to look like the cover of Sgt.Pepper. I know it's been done a billion times but, hey, I thought it would be fun.

But then maybe i need to get out of the house more...

stevie,

That's the single best idea I have seen on SS - how great would that be.

Rob, you wouldn't look out of the place at the local 'battle' (yes, cockney rhyming slang) with a Millwall shirt on.

Hey that's cool.   The quote? It's the last line of 'The End', the last song on 'Abbey Road', the Beatle's final recorded album. Paul wrote it i think.

Snipe, i wouldn't want to run into you on a dark night in Copenhagen or in the backwoods! But you do have more hair than me...

Funny, Mike!  You're not alone when you say that...or notice it.  I'm tall, so I usually have to lean over when others are in the pick.  Not sure why I lean when I'm along...habit?  I think that Mic stand was a bit low for me.

Looks like I'm even leaning a bit, in a seated position...what's wrong with me?

As I grew the beard, I refrained from getting haircuts as well.  I normally go about every three weeks, and my normal length is usually about twice the length of the bottom picture.

I agree the stache isn't me, but it looks pretty damn funny.

I actually have very few photos of myself.  Here is one of me and Casey (the kid who made the Lego movie, for those who recall) working on what turned out to be a pretty crappy snowman...part of that Florida-transplant learning curve.

Am I the only one to notice the eerie resemblance between Sniper and Shelton?  Has anyone ever seen them together in the same place?

Not sure if elf is exactly the look you are going for there...a nearsighted hobbit, perhaps?

Hahaha!

Bert, that is terrific!

With the author's permission, I may have to create myself a new Facebook profile picture..

A real LOL moment!

Apologies for the highly homoerotic/unnecessary narcissism, but, stevie - right-hand corner. That may make the nightmares of such weightlifting/cool-kid poseur-material bearable.

Hey, good one Andrew!  That's from the 'Help' movie. And you did look a bit like Elijah Wood in that other one.
I'd love to put some pics of my kids up but my wife would kill me. I'm worried about, you know, the shit that goes on on the Net, with peds and shit. any thoughts?

I am very impressed - that was indeed from 'Help!'. Loved their 'dos from that time.

I wouldn't worry too much about the pictures, but obviously your call.

Btw, I just read - and enjoyed - your Beatles' script.

Do they visit screenwriting websites? I know the net is "bad" but as I said would they honestly find a screenwriting website for that? That would be rare.

Tommy, it is hard to take pictures without the notorious double chin. I think most people have one whether they are in shape or not depending on how they pose a picture.

You're not supposed to put naked pictures of your kids up here, stevie.

Tommy, love the triple chin, brother!  Also, love the drunk look in your eyes.  Not too sure what's going on in that second picture...probably don't want to know.  In the 3rd, I hope you ended up bang...oh, excuse me...I mean, I hope you and that nice young lady had a wonderful day together.

Yeah, i'm probably being paranoid but my missus is pretty wary of that sort of thing. She doesn't like the idea of the wrong people looking at it. I might sneak some up though.   Haha Mr. Sniper!

That's probably Tommy's sister in that photo - he is from Tassie you know. Or someone he got from 'Rent-a-friend'.

You sounded a bit taller on the phone Tommy...

Ok, don't tell the wife!!  This is me and my kids - Abbey and Cooper, at easter.

This is one of my favorites. It's from 1997 on an old camera; you know, the ones with film! I couldn't make it any bigger. It's at Central Park, New York, near the Dakota

Two observations:

Stevie, you look like an Aussie - I think it's the goatee. I consider that a compliment Oh, and what about the Ashes?! A rare piece of joy for us.

Tommy,

You look absolutely nothing like I anticipated you would.

mate, on that Beatles site i mentioned, most of the young women have enormous crushes on the lads, and how they looked in, say, '65! They post pics and stuff. It's pretty cool.

Notice the double chin.

Contrary to popular belief, this swollen thing under Tommy's jaw isn't a double chin.
It is, in fact, the well documented third testicle that all Tasmanian males possess.
This elusive and highly prized gonad can be found in different parts of the body, depending on the locality of the individual.
Most Tasmanians grow weary of the burden imposed by this freewheeling nut, but the more optimistic, like young Tommy here, embrace their extra aggot with an air of defiance. He is happy to flaunt it and not attempt to cover the visible contours of that mischievous ball.
Well done, Tommy! We salute you!
