Just signed the contract for the sale of my script "The Odds of Love" to an independent production company in PA.  Woo Hoo!


I'll try to keep everyone updated on production status, but I anticipate it being available sometime next year.

I don't know how that kind of thing works (I guess sites like this have changed the dynamic of selling screenplays and contracts for them)

I'm not sure.  I sent an email to them earlier, informing them of it being posted somewhere else, and told them I could have it removed if they liked, so I'm just waiting to hear back from them on that before contacting Don.

Yeah, I went with an outright sale as opposed to an option because it looks like they'll be moving on this pretty quickly, and will probably be their only project at the time, so I took the high likelihood of production over money.

I'd say to prepare to be patient - but it looks like it has been fastracked (which usually means the financing has been closed, which is great).

I need to start putting asterisks and denoting sarcasm.  

I will definitely try to keep everyone updated as this progresses, and hopefully be able to provide a website link once it's up and running.

Oh yeah, Chicago is definitely gonna be swingin, especially since I have vacation days scheduled Monday and Tuesday.
