Hey, you know, you live long enough, you meet famous people eventually from time to time. Andrew’s what? Seventeen? He’s just a kid. He’s excited. Let him have his moment. So what if it’s exaggerated or not. It’s not inconceivable that he would meet or talk to the guy. Or that the guy would accept his script. Whether or not he’ll produce it is another story. But either way wouldn’t negate his story.
I’ll admit that Andrew probably shouldn’t be telling us this. After all, it would be Mr. Roth’s personal business as well and this thread is a bit of a violation of business protocol. But if Mr. Roth is going to conduct business with a seventeen year old, I suppose he should have thought to tell an excited young man to keep a lid on it in the meantime. Mr. Roth is the adult. It’s his responsibility to set perimeters.
Aside from that, congratulations Andrew. And be careful. I know you idolize this guy but beneath Hollywood’s glitz, it is a business. And a very big one. Full of wolves. Just because Mr. Roth is friendly doesn’t mean he’s not one of them.
Best of luck to you. I hope it works out.
Brea

Maybe Don should lock the thread. I believe Andrew, but this shouldn't become one of those threads like the one where Alan was flamed for Banana Chan was the best series. Stop it before everyone starts to hate Nadrew and Guy Jackson. |

George if you google my real name you'll get some guys that aren't me because some people have named their children Steven Cameron as well... I feel so nameless, I'm changing my name to Dick Cameron (How many guys do you know have that name) Scratch that, I just googled it.
Damnit, I'm stuck in google obscurity.
Anyway Eli Roth, he's a rookie. Why does anybody think it's so hard to contact him? |

I think it's scary that you can search your name and this post may turn up. |

I googled my name once over the summer when I had lots of time and I look through like all the pagesd and one of the best things I found was a short story on someones blog about how a characteer named Tyler Higgins destroyed her characters Life by destroying a posicle structure or something. I thought that was hilarious, I'll try to find a link. And also my last name seeems to get used in a lot of movies and far side comics as "old man higgins"... |

I don't mind using my real name. I figure if I ever send out something pimping my work, and someone decides to Google me, it'll add a lot of legitimacy to my claims of being rather prolific and widespread.
Another bit of happiness for me is that I'm responsible for every single Fempiror reference Google finds...even indirectly...so far. |

I still haven't heard back from Eli but i have another director checking it out. He already gave me info on people to send it to and is going to help me get it up. I don't want to say who it is but he directed a really good haunted house movie in 1999. With that said it should be easy to figure out who it is.
If i do hear back from Eli i will tell you but things are going really good with this director. He is very, very helpful and definitly not a dickhead. |

If this director that you speak of is who I think it is, just make sure to watch out. Yeah, he made a really cool haunted house film in 1999... but he followed it up with an awful Stephen Dorff flick a few years later. |
