Sure this is a self-serving thread, but man, I really do post a lot. Phil's on my heels, and I certainly hope during the first 2000 posts, I've been productive and not just banal. I know it's not the quantity, but the quality that counts, but all the same, dear God, I post a lot! I really should write more.

I guess me saying anything to you at this point would seem kind of anal... Yeah i meant that.

At least we got our posts up by visitng all the boards, some people only visit the boards where they have screenplays. Took me 3 years of solid every day posting maybe once or twice to get mine up this far.

Your posts don't go down when you delete, at least not that I know of. Mine never do.

I think I was ahead of you, George, until I went to Scotland for a week and didn't visit the boards.

Tell you what?  I'll race you to three thousand.

I can get over-enthused sometimes, and my off-beat sense of humor can run away with me (just as my off-beat opinions can as well). Don't remember the Roger Smith thing at all which is probably just as well, too. I've had my share of deletions, too.

I have always looked at the portal to see what's active. Rarely do I venture outside of it unless I am looking for something specific. When I have something to add to an active discussion, I add. When there's nothing, there's nothing.

And Wes, I'm quite used to you being anal by now, but you're still my favorite Private Dick.

As I understand it, the posts don't disappear immediately when you delete them. The post number adjusts when Don refreshes the board and recounts everything. This happened most notably when Phil posted his 500 post thread, and then recanted when Don refreshed, taking him down to around 490. He posted a second thread when he got back up there.

And no, not going to just post madly to get to 3000. Just going to keep doing what I've been doing and see what happens.

As for the magic sentence... It's a board of writers, what do you expect?

We need another section to post in. Like a games section. Then you guys could get your 3000. It would be fun.

Games as in video games? I dunno. I can see how it would be a well-travelled board, but at the same time, this is a board for primarily films and more primarily screenplays. Granted we have boards for music, books, and poetry, and I can see how video games would relate to films, but I can also see it getting more out of hand than the others too.

There's a board for suggesting changes to the boards. You can post this in there. Otherwise, the right eyes might not see it.

How about a finsihed film section? Like you get your finfished films posted by genre like you do with your scripts. It would provide a home for Frozen, Mr Gloom etc.

If you upload it yourself somewhere, you actually can do this under the Getting to Know You... board. That's where they go right now anyway. Again, this would be something to request under the board for suggestions.
