Quoted from Impulse
Not only does he have kickass film equipment but he also got a sweet gig before I can even get a min. wage job. And he's only 14.

Way to go, Chris. I'm jealous.

When you have money, you wish you didn't have a job so be happy for now.

Anyway Rapture aren't you the guy who made my web page, the simple look that I wanted over what I had? I forget sometimes.

Just think, they need you more than you need them. Take your time with it and good luck.

Thanks, Wes! and yep, I made the design for "Better Days." After that I took an interest in designing better pages.

And ha ha! They complain about my design, I'll be like "I care? Pfff....I got my money." ha ha. Not really! I'm a nice fellow.

I should trademark that laugh so when you guys use it to mock me I can collect royalties ha-ha

Sadly American Dad stole my laugh for a character and I seen another show that lifted a similar laugh... So if you want to see how Simply Noir's dialogue would be if spoken watch American Dad (The episode where he's competing for Church Deacon) I think that was the episode.

Well, I don't know if I'm going to be web designing or not.

I'm going to be directing and animating (along with other animators) for an upcoming 3D fantasy film (not the one I posted in the WIP board. That kinda fell through. This one is with a production company) starting this fall and I'll be 3D animating (again, with other animators) and directing a 3D TV how for a kids publishing and distribution company. The latter one is still in the talks but the film I know I'm going to be doing.

Wish me luck!!! (This also means writing will be on the back burner for the next few years...

Just thought I'd update everyone on the status of the fantasy film...

I hired I music composer in New York to compose/conduct the score for the film. I've hired a character designer and a location/prop designer. I'm working on getting a few 3D modelers/bone riggers...

Thing going pretty smooth for now, but I won't keep my hopes up for a smooth ride all the way through. ha ha.

Good luck, if you fail at least you can say you tried. Half the battle is getting off your ass and doing something with your life.

You're giving it a go and you're 14 (15?) which means you have many years to get better, I started to get interested in making movies recently, my time to do something is coming to a close because as I get older I have to seriously find a stable job just in case.

So be happy that you're still at the age where you can make mistakes and try new things that otherwise you wouldn't be able to.

Just as a small update on how my fantasy film is going...

UPDATES:

It's going to be live action not 3D.

I just hired an AWESOME visual effects company in India (I believe).

I started the screenplay.

The visual effects company has worked on quite a few cinema release films and is contacting everyone they can to help fund this film.

The author of the book this film is based on will be flying in from New York to my home to spend a week with us while we cast the film in January.

Filming is set to begin next May.

3D pre-viz has begun and I'll continue planning out each shot with my story board artist and two 3D pre-viz artist.

We're setting up the sound stage with a green screen right now.

I've basically got a composer in New York who'll be scoring the film. Just a few things to sign.

And...that's about it.

This seems to be really working out, so as I said before, I'll be really busy for the next two years...see everyone then!

Thanks to everyone who have helped me along as a screenwriter. You guys a SimplyAmazing! This is one of the greatest groups of people I've ever seen! YOU ROCK!

Here is the official teaser poster for the film:

At the bottom in the credits area, it just says NAME HERE for all the actors. That's because this isn't supposed to be released yet. We haven't cast the lead roles yet.

Isn't it a slight coincidence that all your screenplays seem to be going into theater or some sort of special thing.

Time to start a WIP thread on this one, Rapture.  This thread has run its course.

And you should give a "Story By" credit, lest you offend your collaborator.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

I've found it to be a trend that Rapture beefs up his marketing for his scripts more than Curse did for #747.

Just an observation.
