I've actually been meaning to put together an encyclopedic page about the Fempiror, but I haven't drawn it up yet. Can't figure out what the important info is and what info should be left out. I figured it would legitimize the backstory and create an interest if anyone ever ran across it.
I wrote that overnight and it's already been proposed for deletion because it is not notable. It can also be argued that it is original research and there are no sources, but hey, I think it's cool. I've made several alterations already, but hey, if it gets proposed for deletion because it is "not notable", those who've read it should comment on its discussion page about how it is notable...those who think it's not need not apply.
I have also noticed that Banana Chan maintains an article as well.
There are some rules to follow in creating a page. The one I'm running up against is whether the Fempiror are notable enough to stay in Wikipedia. I figure if Banana Chan can hang, Fempiror can too.
As far as I know, as long as the little warning box isn't there, it's safe. Fempiror History still has the warning box, and I could understand that one being deleted. No reason for it, really, since you can link to my web site from the Chronicles page and get the same info. I'll let it go.
I'll be keeping an eye on it, and if someone decides to ding it again, I'll bump the thread.
Ahahaha -- I looked a little closer and found you not only referenced SimplyNoir, but the Better Days episode, too! You nut. Make sure Wesley knows haha.
I know I used Fempiror as the hotel name in Simply The Godfather, but I felt that was going a bit too far. But if it ever pops up anywhere else, I'll be on top of it. What I really need to do is start writing on it again, so there's new material. Otherwise, it grows stagnant and isn't much of a series.
The Banana Chan article has an advantage on that site which stories of equal and even greater quality don't have; its author has earned some noteriety locally. I've written stageplays which have pleased large audiences in my home town -- enough plays that people expect it of me now ... and I deliver ... though sometimes under pseudonyms (which locals see through) ... and ... *annoyed sigh* I rarely make any money from it.
... but there've been more than what are listed by that site. In this town, plays simply emerge ... and most of the time, nothing is written on the internet about them. Such emergences have been known to have been catalyzed by scripts I've written.
... and now I sound like a pompous jackass.
LOOOOOOOOOOOONG story short, BANANA CHAN isn't my only project.
Ahahaha -- I looked a little closer and found you not only referenced SimplyNoir, but the Better Days episode, too! You nut. Make sure Wesley knows haha.
It is a shout out to you bert.
When I became the shameless plug for many series including both mentioned in this thread ha-ha I probably should have approached more people but you never know how they will react to the question "Can I reference or use your characters in my series"
Anyway, George good job, maybe if they keep it up a generation of kids will see you're not just a myth. Is your ultimate goal to play a vampire?
Yeah, but it's a local thing, and I'm not proud of it until it pays more bills. Well, no -- it can pay bills 'til the cows come home, but I won't be proud and happy until I get the girl. Banana Chan's an elaborate pick-up line for a girl who might get certain 'inside jokes' *sigh* That's why I'll continue putting all my eggs into that basket until they hatch.
