I finalized everything on the contract today, so I guess it's safe to say that "The Hero of Her Heart" has sold.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their comments, criticisms, and feedback.

I'd also like to send a congrats out to another SS writer who will be getting a script produced in the near future, but I'll keep their identity a secret just in case they'd like to remain anonymous.

Thanks again everyone.

Congrats Mike.  So this is another one of yours that's getting produced?  Not too shabby.  I'll be sure to look out for it when it gets released.  That as well as Odds of Love.  BTW how's that one coming along?  Any update for us?

Nice one, Mike.

And congrats to Daniel Robinson, too. I hope the characters will be as colourful on the screen as they were on the page.

That is who you're talking about, right?

The storyline and characters for The Odds of Love have been changed completely.  You wouldn't even recognize it anymore.  I'm assuming the title will change as well, although I'm not too sure as to what at this point.

Production is scheduled to start sometime next spring, but I've already begun working on another "skewed" version of it that I can hopefully start marketing by end of year.

EDIT:  Not Dan Robinson

Congrats Mike. It's good to watch someone succed whose worked hard enough for it. You were one of the people that reviewed my script and gave me good advice as the others did as well. I'll see if I can take a look at the script so I could learn something. But it will take a couple of days in order for me to respond it., whichI think you might not need it anyways. I have to read another script and review first. Again congrats.

A great big congrats to you, Mike.   I'm very happy for you.
I have a question for you, though.
Is this person going to be using your script for festivals, and try to get a bigger company interested in it or is it going straight to DVD?
I'm asking this because I want a copy, and would like to find out how to purchase it when it's completed.

I know who the other person is that is getting their script produced. That person let me in on the secret, and didn't want to say anything until the actual production started. AND I want to buy that one too.

I think it's wonderful that two of our best writers here are getting their features produced. Both of you have worked hard, and now it's time to reap the rewards of your labor.

Fantastic!

If I had to guess I'd say it would be released, either theatrically or on dvd, but I'll keep everyone posted on that.

I just happened to stumble across the other writer's info myself, and plan on buying that when it's done as well.

I think I figured out who our mystery writer is. Am I right in thinking you both sold to the same producer?

Congratulations to both of you.

I can't say I'm surprised, envious maybe but not surprised. You guys really deserve it

No, I don't think we've sold anything to the same producer, at least not in this case.

Good work, Mike. Is this a short or a full, and who bought it, if you don't mind telling.

It's a feature length script, and it was purchased by a company called Cinderella Films in Canada.
