Hello!
I'm a new member to the Simply Scripts forums and so far I have submitted a script to the unproduced scripts page titled:
THE DARK PAST , which is about a man who slips back to his past as a hitman and in the process, he looses his wife.
I am 13 years old and I am an amature filmmaker and script writer. I have created over 20 short/ feature length films. I am in the middle of production of another film called BREAKOUT, which is about a man named James Reeves who is accused of murder and armed robbery and gets placed into Walberg Prison for a life sentence, where it's run by commissioner Emily Lane. No one has ever escaped from Walberg Prison and no one will ever will, but is that a true fact? Reeves plans on breaking out with the help of another inmate, Chris Stewart, who was also framed but something seems wrong about Stewart. Reeves plans to reunite with his family and get revenge on the one who put him in the prison: the mobster Steven Goreman. That should come out sometime at the end of the fall or summer.
I submitted the script to the SS database. A lot of people say I create TOO dark of scripts/ films for my age but that's what I write and like. What influences me to write these dark scripts is the director Alfred Hitchcock. I was blown away when I saw Rear Window and Vertigo. My favorite genres are dark/ drama/ suspense/ thrillers/ tint of romance/ and sometimes horror.
Thanks for your time.
~William Phelps

Welcome to the boards Will. Another guy about your age here has Hitchcock as his favorite too and even the exact quote under his avatar. Don't worry about being too dark. Lots of people like it on the dark side around here. I like really sappy romantic drama myself...

Thanks for the welcome, yeah, Hitchcock is one of my influences to create scripts/ films. The dark it is, the better it is for me.
Thanks for the welcomes guys!
