Yes! Bloody hell and a bag of tunacartfish says I, the Freak has returned from the unknown once again to glance upon his former home away from sunlight. How goes things? So many new faces. The faces. THE NEW FACES FRIGHTEN ME! I FEAR CHANGE! But yes, it's been a while. How goes things? Well? DO NOT IGNORE MY VEINS!

Anyway, things in my world veered wildly away from writing when I was droven to such depths of self loathing and depression I found myself contemplating taking a walk in front of a bus on more than one occasion. And though I do enjoy walking, I rather imagine I would not enjoy the bus. So I shifted my sights to something slightly less soul sucking and wrenching and settled in on graphic design. Currently I'm working "part time" (even though it's full time hours) for CTV as a graphic op/designer, and I freelance on the side as camera op. I'm working on getting my own post production company (that'll do graphics, editing, compositing, maybe even a little shooting, all that jazz) going, mostly for my own stuff.

Been well over two years since I wrote anything for fun for myself, so I tried my hand at it again. I spent about three months jotting down ideas and notes in a notebook I carried with me everywhere I went. I ended up with a horror story where an adrift icebreaker enters an island port and unleashes demons that turn people into zombies, some of which think and begin building an army, while a group of mercenaries hired to contain the outbreak (kind of like Blackwater in Iraq) end up trapped in the midst of it all. I got as far as writing a ten page outline before I decided I had gone as far as I felt like going, so I put that on the back burner. Seems these days I get as far as the outline before I lose interest. I also worked out a demonic horror film that I ended up working in as a prequel to one of my older scripts Je Suis Le Morte Reincarne which ended up worked together with half my other scripts. Damned intertwineditnessicity. Or something.

Right now I'm doing animation tests for a project I'm hoping will get off the ground. It's an entire solo project, I've got a full series bible written for it (it started as a school project and grew from there). Blood, Blades, & Bullets I call it. After a nuke is detonated in L.A., two warring gang factions, one that lives the gangster way, the other the samurai way, are forced to join forces to fight the government and (you guessed it) zombies. Always the damned zombies with me. The plan is to rotoscope the whole thing and animate it (which takes a horrendous amount of time, which is what the tests are currently for) but if I can get a good system down, it could theoretically turn out kind of cool. That's the great thing with animating it: I can play everyone, I don't have to pay anyone, and I'm trying to get some voice acting experience so it's no problem there either. Yeah, it'll suck. But so be it.

Who wants toast? Anyone for toast?

What else have I done. Led a revolution on a message board that brought it to its knees, then started my own in retaliation. Started a movie review blog/website that proves just how much time I have on my hands. Oh, and the plan is next summer to walk from Calgary to Vancouver on foot solo, so I've started training for that. I've been walking everywhere and have spent the occasional night living in the streets to get ready. Hopefully that will go. Or I may just go insane, you never know. Insanity is a beautiful thing. Also I am now a satanist though I don't have a card yet.

So there be my life. Looking at it I realize I have done so little with it. WASTED! WASTED ON ALL OF IT! Meh, not like I had anything better to do right?

You whacky kids and your drugs. I don't need any drug to get high. Just a constant supply of caffeinated beverages and a string of sleep deprevation that would make Trevor Reznik weep.

I found full time jobs (Factory work anyway) leaves you with very little of a life so compared to me, you have a real life.

What's the talk about a bus?

I hear Lexapro is quite a good anti-depressant.

It sucks when you can't find an idea that'll keep you inspired through to its completion.

Anyway, hang in there Freak; I'm sure it'll pass. As long as you’re sucking air you're a chance.

Freak.  k, it's good to have a familiar face, even if it is the wide eyed screming man with a gap in his teeth.

If you're really wanting a demon story, I've got a real one, or at least something supernatural, like a spirit or something.  It's following me around.  WHenever I walk through the magnet strip detector things at stores or libraries, they go off. Every time.  It's getting to be a real pain.  So of course, my brain goes staright to demon.

It's following me.
