I thought I'd post the rough trailer to my latest film ' A Tale from the Gunbarrel'

It's a thirty minute film that I wrote & directed.
It's currently in the final stages of post, so it should be available for download in the near future (depending on festival rules)

I hope you enjoy it.

Not bad.  Production values look really good, except for the action.  It looked way too fake, imo.

I really liked the guy who was eating, but the angry guy in the hat seemed a bit cheesy and over-the-top.

I have nothing that you can read.

Hey Escapist.

Thanks for the comments.

It's hard to get a feel for the film from the trailer, it is very much over the top, with flashes of gritty realism. The angry twins are very exagerated and comical characters, in a way they are the comic relief. I wanted something almost cartoonish, but yet completely psychotic.

I agree with ecapist, the trailer mostly comprised of people getting whacked either by someone, a gun, or, in this case, a baseball bat.

for some reason, I dont see how this is physchotic, more of a umm whats the word...

I find televison very educational. Everytime someone turns it on I go to  another room and read a book

The film actually has a dialogue heavy script with a very complex story. The trailer is mostly to show off the films feel and look.
Trust me, if you see the film you'll agree that the twins are psychotic (aswell as angry).

Hey Dreamlogic, just checked out your trailer and thought it looked really good.  The quality is excellent and the acting looks a lot better than most I've seen.

Looks pretty cool mate. Quality looks pretty damn crisp; what camera (and other equipment) you use? Good work though, keep it up!

Thanks Toby. I shot it on a Z1, we didnt use any lens adapters or anything due to budget. It cost about 2500 aus dollars to make. There was only a two man crew for most of it ( Me and the DOP)  We mostly used redheads , didos and a HMI for the lighting, but we spent a lot of time getting the lighting setups right, thats where the quality comes from. I had access to a very good but cheap dolly and jib also.
